Don't expect anything from Norwich away......so if Ollie and the lads bring any points back i'll be more than happy

Don't know where my brain went there......as has been pointed out to me we are obviously at home lol

Still think a point would be fine though.......but will be hoping for all 3 nontheless!

Why not put something down so that we can discuss the options anyway? Lets face it none of us know anything despite trying to convince other posters to the contrary.......

    Try this for starters

    Smithies
    Ned, Hall, Caulker, Finnish/American Lad
    Pawel, Mass, Ariel, Shopido
    Washington
    BFG

    As they say........Discuss

I put down the crowd and the score and no one followed suit! Apart from Smithies, Sylla has to start. Apart from being bored of Polter, Sylla is in a different league to BFG.
You also missed out Cousins and Robinson, our 2 best players v Forest but Holloway wasn't there so not sure who feed that back to him.

Would like that team, but would expect one attempt to play Chery at least and with Luongo having a foot injury perhaps he will play him in midfield

Cannot remember where we are on the injury front (Perch, Bidwell, Robinson, Lynch etc)

So only guessing...but hoping Shodipo starts

    Smithies
    Ned, Hall, Caulker, Finnish/American Lad
    Pawel, Chery, Ariel, Shopido
    BFG, Washington

    Smithies
    Ned Hall Lynch Robinson
    Mass Ariel
    Pawel Chery Shopido
    Sylla

Have the notion from somewhere that Caulker isn't fit yet. But that Luongo will be.

    4-3-3

    ----------------------Smithies----------------------

    Perch-------Onouha------Hall-------Robinson

    ----------------------Borysiuk----------------------
    ------Cousins----------------------Luongo-------

    Wszołek------------------------------Washington
    ------------------------Polter------------------------

Would consider Shodipo for Washington, depending on how Conor is used. If it's a wing role then definitely Shodipo. If Conor could play closer to Polter then Conor.

I am so confused with all the different teams and formations that I haven't got a scooby.
I think he will go for a 4-4-2:

Smithies, Robinson, Ned, Hall, Mass, the two poles, BFG and three others.

    Smithies
    ??? Hall Ned Robinson
    Wszolek Borysiuk Mass ???
    BFG ????

Didn't Washington pull out of the NI squad with injury. Sylla an impact sub for me, Polter to start.

There are some nice ideas above. I would am guessing and believe Ollie may drop Chery and try 4-3-3, thus go for:

    ----------------------Smithies----------------------
    Perch-------Onouha------Hall-------Robinson
    ----------------------Borysiuk----------------------
    ------Cousins----------------------Luongo-------
    Wszołek---------------------------------Shopido
    ------------------------Sylla------------------------

This is a variant of Norway's proposal, but I've switched Shopido (instead of Washington-injured?) and Sylla (for Polter).

I like it as 4-3-3 is offensive, plus everyone is playing in a natural position (full backs, wingers and midfielders).

Hopefully we can play flat out as that Blackpool team! COYR's!!!!

I think we should draw from the fountain of Norwich knowledge and request some words of wisdom from Rangercol.
If anyone knows where we stand this weekend, it's him.
Col, what do you think of Norwich?

I have a "feeling" that Ollie may give Sandro a run out. Possibly in the starting line up rather than sub appearance.

Be a shame if it's Cousins that makes way as he's done well. I'm a little surprised that Chery doesn't feature in any of the suggested line-ups. Do we not think that Ollie will have given him the motivational drive that he has perhaps needed in recent weeks?

If everyone's fit, I'd love to see this X1 start the match :
    Smithies
    Onuoha---Hall---Lynch---Robinson
    Sandro---Cousins
    Wszolek------------------------Ngbakoto
    Chery
    Sylla

Plenty of goals in that team,Luongo just doesn't score ever ! Give Cousins the freedom to attack from his position, and I reckon he could score a good few. Let Sandro do his thing and get stuck into their playmaker, get the 2 wingers to take them on and stick in some crosses for the big man. It's going to be a cracking atmosphere,so let's get at them and attack from the get go !

He's in mine. He has most assists in the League, one of the last I'd want left out.

I admit that I do not recall so many varied options for the starting eleven.
One can only conclude that "we" believe that there are many other more attractive and effective options - which is very good!

I will eagerly check the team sheet at 14:00 on Saturday to see what Ollie has come out with.
I just hope that there will not be too much expectations, too soon.
