Saturday sees some very hard looking games for those chasing promotion. Could we have another excellent day or will we be moaning come Sunday morning. Personally I see us winning along with Reading.
You don't know the whiners. These two things are not mutually exclusive! Away win for us and I won't care about the others.
I think our next three are seriously tough games. Like everyone, I thought once we got past that last run of tough games, then weâd be laughing. Now we got past that, I now look at these next three as another potentially seriously tough run. All relative, I suppose. As the pressure ratchets, almost all games suddenly look seriously hazardous. And any string of consecutive away games is daunting. Thankfully Reading have a few at the same time as us. Do you see Saints going unbeaten for the rest of the season, or do you think thereâs a loss in us?
My overlying fear is actually that Pompey are the team who take points off us! Seems absurd, but at the same time a game destiny might enjoy playing!
West Ham have a bad schedule of fixtures as well playing nearly all of the main challengers for promotion.
WHU have toughest game against Leeds and I reckon Saints and Reading should win. I would guess the league table on Sunday will read Reading two points behind Saints and then a 4 point gap to WHU.
I will be amazed if WH don't lose to Leeds. Leeds are on fire at the moment, they deserved to beat us heavily and made Middlesborough look like a bottom of the table team away from home. West Ham are looking out of sorts as well so this is the perfect timing for Leeds to clobber them!
If we play like we did first half against Barnsley, we'll get beat or draw at best. If we play like we did second half, we'll win.
This is one of those weekend where I really don't care what the other results are. If we win, it will have been a good weekend for us, even if everyone else wins 5-0. Whilst Millwall are not exactly the best side in the division, it's far from a nailed on 3 points in my book. So just by getting those 3 points, we'll have done well. Just like we had a small thoughts about Reading slipping up against Doncaster, I'm sure Reading and West Ham are half thinking that Millwall might just get something.
great - i wish i hadnt read that...i hate it when you see things like this as they must surely be due a home win
