I shall be there, and I fully intend to make a bloody scene. Scally needs to know how the fans feel about this. But, can we all make sure once the whistle blows and the game begins we support the 11 men on the pitch. WWPSJFOAD
Why? Surely the best actual way to support the team as a whole is to back everyone at the club from top to bottom. It's not like Mr. Scally will give MA the job back if the fans aren't happy, in his interview he acknowledged its a tough decision, but he's trying to do the best for the club by changing the manager not spite fans.
Every man to their own style of protest...I have certainly vented mine over the course of time. All I kindly and responsibly ask is people don't get themselves in trouble. I'm sure they will not. I just fear scenes we have seen in the past. Let's remember we are a family club with young kids in the crowd. Hopefully everyone will remain calm but rightly vocal. Personally with me, I will NOT be booing or jeering Scally. I have issues over my non reply to my email to him over ST's and our treatment, I have issues over his letter to supporters, I think it was wrong to dismiss MA. I believe there needs to be more transparency between the Chairman and the supporters and he needs to stop strutting around like king. I would still like more insight into the finances. However, would I invest with intention of running a once ruined football club...not at all. I don't trust him but better the devil you know than the one you don't...I think it was alwaysright that said that phrase to me.
Not the place for it at the ground! If thats peoples intentions then i wont be taking my kids to the game! Scally has made a decision rightly or wrongly only time will tell. Get behind the team and lets not have a negative vibe at the ground Saturday!
If you do intend to make a scene and cause trouble at Priestfield on saturday, then its very foolish to come on here and brand it about. Makes it very easy for the authorities to find out who the antagonist was. We mustn't forget that one particular user suffered suffered by doing the very same on the old 606 and is now banned from the ground.
Quite interested that people seem to think making a scene is somehow rioting... Singing more what I had in mind.
Seems to me that PS is damned either way on this one. I for one like MA and think he's been dismissed way too soon. Winning our first Championship and us being above the relegation zone is no bad achievement. He deserves at least until Xmas, and maybe the whole season, before he is judged imho. But, there are plenty of people who also think he's bad for the club, poor "hoofball", selling the kids, negative tactics, rumours of staff unrest etc etc. Coupled with the statistic of just 4 wins in last 25 games or something. PS waited way too long over the Stimson (and possibly Hess) sacking. I think this time he is acting rather than re-acting. If he'd waited till Xmas and we were bottom, I think there'd be a whole heap more fans outraged at his 'inactivity'. Just my thoughts. Best of luck MA, you've left us all some great memories and a title.
