Afternoon All Much confidence amongst us Canaries regarding our game on Saturday. With a weakened team we did OK against a pretty decent Everton side and (no disrespect intended) Hull as one of the promoted teams are the sort of side we "ought" to be getting away points from. Then again I would imagine that Norwich at home is a fixture you reckon you "ought" to get points from. Hopefully we'll have Fer and your former target Hooper back plus our captain Bassong and Snodgrass which should strengthen us considerably. Will your mob be at full strength? Who should we worry about and what do you reckon the score will be? Personally I can see arguments for all three results - if you come out of the blocks quickly with the fans behind you you could roll us over, a cagey draw would get you off the mark and us an away point which I reckon would be acceptable for us both at this stage of the season, if we score early and the team get their tails up I can see us putting two or three past you. Good luck for the rest of the season except when visiting Fortress Carrow Road, partucluarly against some of the big smug boys who all the plastics follow.
Certainly a hard match to call. I do think we'll definitely get something from the match, and I expect Thudd and Livermore to make the difference. Ones to look out forin our team would be the two Spurs lads, Brady and Aluko. Thudd and Livermore will be looking to put on a big performance on their home debuts, and Aluko and Brady are tricky players who can pull something out of the hat in an instant. Especially Aluko, who up until his injury was arguably the best player in the Championship. I expect a few goals as well, as I don't think we'll keep a clean sheet against the Wolf (which, if we won, wouldnt bother me as he is in my fantasy team lol). Heart says 3-2 Hull, head says 2-2.
A good open game is what i expect. Hudds and Liver to make the difference. 2-1 Hull win but a draw would be ok. Good luck after saturday like.
Expecting an end to end game so something like 3-2, not sure who to though. Can't wait for the game anyway, missed live football so much.
Bruce will be telling the players that our season starts against Norwich. As the OP said, Norwich at home is exactly the kind of games we ought to be getting points from. We will be looking to win our home games regardless of the opposition and no disrespect to Norwich but they're still a low end table team. They are in our "mini league" as everyone seems to call it. 2-1 win for city. Brady & Sagbo goals.
Norfolkbhoy, what's your opinion of your manager? Based on the little I've seen and the even less I know, I really rate him. Geordies agree eventually. Clickety click.
I reckon we'll be pumped up, out the blocks in a flying 3-5-2 formation. We'll send you home with your tails between your legs. Look out for Aluko, Brady, Huddlestone and Livermore. City (Hull) 3 City (Norwich) 0
I think we (NCFC) have the better squad and should win it, but newly promoted teams have that momentum and still riding on adrenaline from coming up. So it could really go any way. From our games over the weekend, I think both set of fans are feeling positive about getting a result we all think is winnable game. I'm can't say who I think will win (Hoping NCFC obviously) but it should be a good game regardless.
Norwich look a decent side under CH, though with the 2 Tottenham boys starting, I think we will shade this one by the odd goal 2-1 to the Tigers, but I think it will be an entertaining game. Looking forward to it.
I'm going 2-1 City, on paper Norwich have a far better strike force, but as it's our first home game back in the Premier League and the players will be pleased with the overall performance at Chelsea, I hope we'll just shade it. It could easily go either way, it's a hard one to call.
