    Newmarket 2.45 Democretes 10/1

Caught the eye finishing strongly after being set too much to do and having to be switched for a run behind Red Quartet and Mince last time, finds himself 8 pounds better off with Mince, who is favourite here, for a couple of lengths and given that he is double the price, I think hes worth a bet in a wide open race.

    Newbury 3.05 Hajras 9/2

Smart looking colt, well on top at the finish in mile handicap at Ripon on ground that was probably soft enough, runner up franked the form with a good run next time off a 5 pounds higher mark. Handicapper hit him quite hard with an 8 pound rise but he is improving, and with the step up in trip and better ground in his favour, he looks to have a good chance of maintaining his unbeaten record off a mark of 84. This is an extremely competetive race though and whoever wins will be one to keep an eye on.

    Newmarket 3.20 The Nile 2/1

Quite simply, this a Group horse running in a Listed race against inferior animals and he will win with authority. The 5/2 is gone and he might be even shorter tomorrow.

    Newmarket 5.05 Mukhadram

Ran a nice race first time out in the Wood Ditton, the form looks particularly strong even given that one or two have been dissapointing, the winner went on to run a neck second to Noble Mission, who runs earlier on the card, in a Listed race and the 3rd horse franked the form with a very easy maiden win. He wont be much of a price, maybe a shade odds against depending on how strong the newcomers are but he wasnt given an overly hard time the last day and with improvement expected he ought to take the world of beating.

    Newbury 5.40 Riot Of Colour

Excellent Art filly who has improved with every run, travelled like a good horse when a half length second to the potential Group filly Perfect Step at Newmarket on her first run of the season. Looked very straightforward and professional that day and of those that have run, she sets the clear standard. There are a couple of interesting newcomers but they will have to be well above average to get near this filly and I expect her to put her experience to good use and win comfortably. Should be around the 2/1 mark which would be a fair price.

Agree with you about The Nile tomorrow, have put a decent bet on it.
