Simple Saturday competition for anyone who wants to join in. This has replaced the Saturday TV Competition. The new format started on Saturday, Nov 4th 2017 with 17 entrants. However, new entrants are welcome at any stage Rules: Select six horses from any of the races in the UK or Ireland Choose one to be your nap selection. NB if no nap is indicated it will be taken to be the first one posted, regardless of the time of the race Your selection will, by default, be deemed to be a "win bet" However, you may choose for any of your selections to go ew - if so please specify "ew" Points will be gained based on the return to a £2 win at SP or a £1 ew at SP as applicable (Place odds are 1/4 odds 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th depending on the number of runners - see below) The nap selection will score double points NRs may be replaced at any time before the race start time. In the absence of a replacement the bet will be void (ie your stake will be "refunded") For the purposes of this competition all place bets will be at 1/4 odds and will apply as follows: 4 runners or less No place betting allowed 5-7 runners 1st and 2nd one quarter the odds 8+ runners 1st, 2nd and 3rd one quarter odds Handicaps 16 or more runners 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th one quarter odds Handicaps 25 or more runners 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th one quarter odds Number of runners for determining odds will be the number that came under starters orders regardless of whether or not they took part NB Please do not edit selections.
