Racing today is from Ascot, Ayr, Newmarket, Wetherby, and Down Royal. Only bet for me today is Hajras in the 15:05 at Newmarket. Trying listed company for the first time but seems capable of further improvement. Certainly should handle the ground. A successful day's punting to one and all!

i am going to state the obvious here, but,it would be nice to see old micky hills sign off with a winner today. on that basis i shall be backing both red jazz and bunraku [[B I WISH HIM ALL THE VERY BEST FOR HIS COMING YEARS
Two for me, Time For Rupert in the Charlie Hall and Cape Express at Ascot. Also really looking forward to seeing Swincombe Flame and Baby Shine run today, both are favourites of mine, whilst I hope Smad Place wins at Wetherby too. Really good day of NH racing, best of the season so far. Appetite whetted.
I see Emma Lavelle's Tocca Ferro didn't survive the overnight decs in the hot listed hurdle event at Ascot either. Still the fact that he was in until so late must be a positive sign. Been off for 2 years now. Hope to see that one back very soon. Great days racing ahead even so.
My 5 for the comp: 1.45 Down Royal Radera - Tony Martin in good form at the moment and the booking of Carberry catches the eye. Alot will depend on whether Pires runs and whether he is over his exertions from yesterday, but I think Radera is coming down to a winning mark and will be nicely tuned up for this after his recent flat runs. 2.00 Ascot My Tent Or Yours - highly touted bumper horse last season who was just touched off by 2 very decent sorts. JP has snapped him up and he looks sure to be a big player in the novice hurdle sphere this season 2.15 Wetherby Une Artiste - The Fred Winter winner has hopefully put her Punchestown antics behind her and I think she will have a very successful 2nd season over hurdles. 2.50 Wetherby Smad Place - ran a cracker in the World Hurdle and was going well again at Aintree before falling. This is a strong renewal but he is open to more improvement than the other being still only 5 and I think his class will prevail today. 3.25 Wetherby Time For Rupert - just got a sneaking feeling he will go well today - always gone well fresh and ran a cracker in this last year.
A cracking day's racing to savour. I like the chances of Monte Cavallo in the 2.35 at Ascot. Has performed well over hurdles thus far albeit in a lower grade with some wide margin wins. However his second to the Henderson/Buckley horse Tour D'Argent looks like decent form as that horse gave Attaglance most to do at the Aintree festival. The trainer puts up a 10lb claimer, whom I can't say I know too much about. However I do note that he has already had some reasonable success at the Curtis yard so not put off. Best price 25/1 makes cracking ew value. Good luck to all striking a wager today.

Quito De la Roque is not a 4/1 shot with Sizing Europe out of the race though I expected him to beat him again anyway and repeat last years win in the race...which is why I warned Dexter last night !
Cor blimey, do we know people that it's 3 years to the day since the Geraghty boy took the 'wrong course' on My Petra in that infamous race up at Wetherby. If I’d have been ‘in power’ he’s still have 2 years of his ban left to serve!
Good days racing ahead a few selections from me today: 2.35 ascot: ted spread 8/1 3.45 ascot: pepite rose 8/1 3.40 newmarket: french navy 7/1
Morning guys and gals I'm hoping to get a winner today as the last two Saturdays I've done my dough so steer well clear of IL DE RE 2.35 ascot currently 3/1 with hills maybe even Dutch it will cape express after his impressive win last week but gone up 11lbs for that Good luck if you play today Off to watch the gooners beat man utd especially if they have their ATM rio playing (Hole in the wall) centre back lol
The worlds most over-rated racecourse (Ascot) is slightly in the shadow of gaff-track Wetherby today. I'll be leaving the Charlie Hall well alone as while it may not quite qualify for the label "punter's graveyard", it's buried me a few times. Earlier on the Wetherby card, Nicky Henderson's Une Artiste starts her season against her own sex in the Listed Mares Hurdle at 2.15. 7/4 is a fair price for last season's Fred Winter winner, though there has to be some doubt about her going left handed. Also refused to race at Punchestowns in April, though given the atrocious weather conditions that day she can hardly be blamed for that. I return to Ascot for my bet of the day, though not literally so for as long as the racecourse management presume they have the right to tell me how to dress. But I've noticed Paul Nicholls has taken control of the weights in the Handicap Chase at 3.10. Join Together disappointed in the RSA in March, and again at Aintree, but before that he had looked as chaser of great promise. He re-appears in a handicap off a mark of 151, priced around 13/2, and carrying only 10st 11lbs due to stablemate Poquelin keeping half the field out of the handicap. Victor Dartnell's Ace High is the danger. Meanwhile, back at the California ranch, don't be fooled by last night's events into thinking the Europeans are without a chance or a clue. On Group or Grade 1 tracks anywhere in the world, the best horse usually wins. St Nicholas Abbey is the best horse in the BC Turf, and while the O'Brien pup may not be the best jockey in the world, he's proved himself up to the big occasion in the past. The 7/2 with Hills should be taken.
Ladbrokes go 2/1 for Excelebration tonight with him being as short as 5/4 with other bookies. Never a good sign for an O'Brien horse.
