DeGale wins on the undercard in a fight that told us the sum total of nothing.

Bring on George Groves. 10 years ago they would NEVER make that fight until both had reached the top. This is a good thing for boxing.

Ricky Burns really dug it out there. I gave him every round till Lareya pulled out. The commentators gave him all but one, and some gave Lareya only a share of one.

a nice guy and a good fighter. Well done Ricky.

    ireland v scotland later on

andy lee takes on craig mcewan. Should be a good one.

Andy Lee proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Ireland is the greatest nation on earth by pulling out a come from behind ko on the final round

I watched these fights and was angered by how pathetic DeGale's opponent was... total waste of time and simply padding for his record. Rubbish.

It was filler after the smith fight in which degale was very good.

The groves match is really exciting.

The Smith vs DeGale fight was one of the best performances i've ever seen from a British boxer with so little pro experience - Chunky was world class that night which is why the total farce of a mis-match that followed pissed me off so much.

I think DeGale will take Groves apart in the later rounds... it's gonna be a belter though! <party>
