Byraway, 62 year old Mickey Rourke knocked out a dude less then half his age last night. A couple of body shots....suspicious.
I've money on Chisora, he's a stone and a half lighter since the last fight (I backed him then too, but he was ****ing fat) - got the lads around for a few beers while watching the card.
and Fury really doesn't want to be here, he's only doing it for the money, he's admitted as much, and he ****ing hates getting punched.
as crap as fury is he will do chisora mick chisora maybe a stone lighter but doesn't seem to be arsed, going in fat for the first fight was evidence he is happy to be a journeyman
Fury's not crap. He's got plenty skills. Since the first fight Dereck has gotten some big fights and done well in them. Forget the first fight. This is totally different
Fury doesn't like the game, he hates it in fact. Chisora isn't a great fighter, but Fury is awful and if it isn't tonight he's caught out, then it will be very soon.
That was a comprehensive disciplined beat down. Fury boxed almost the entire fight southpaw and put in a Klitchko like performance minus the hugging. This was an eliminator, Chisora was world ranked. He deserves credit. Fury will be found out, but this is world level. It happens to most of them.
It was comprehensive - ridiculously so, didn't even give me a thrill for my money - Chisora is in decent shape as well, so I wouldn't have thought it was supposed to be a walkover - but that it was. I still feel as if I want to back against Fury - he's a big fat wobbly **** - but I think I'll have to sit out the next one because I just keep doing my dough against him.
mick no s**t pal but my mate is an ex boxer and mate of fury and a few others and Fury loves fighting but tries to make out he doesn't. chisora is now a journeyman. I didn't even watch the fights but expected both chisora and eubank jnr to lose
It wasn't supposed to be a walkover at all. As I say, Chisora was world ranked. He's seriously tested everyone he's fought with world title ambitions and derailed one or two of them. Fury looks, and is, vulnerable when he doesn't think there is threat. But when he's on his game he's very difficult to be got at. He's cultivated this "entertainer" thing but he's done this cagey beat down performance a couple of times before and it shows he's far from the talentless clown he's made out to be. Coupled with how he looks and the utter scutter he talks about his love of the game, he'll keep getting attention.
