Charles Bradly has died. Gutted personally. Fantastic voice. RIP fella. So I've gone with the theme of solo artists who have passed on, ok if they have their own band behind them(Like Buddy Holly for example), just not bands.
TV programme mate. I used to listed to loads of funk in the 70's. Mainly Kool and the gang (they were good in the early days), Fatback band, Ohio Players etc.
I play George Benson every morning after my lady has had her jazz fix, him and Bill Withers are a morning staple.
82. The guide says its funk, but Dusty Sringfields on now ffs. Hollywood swinging, funky stuff by Kool were my favourites at the time. And Wicky Wacky (Fatback) were my favourites at the time. Pretty much only listen to reggae now. Going to see Black Uhuru and Culture, both from the 70's/80s next month up Newcastle. Seen them both a couple of times, once on Hartlepool docks believe it or not.
