So, here's the latest news from Elland Road : Ipswich Town are in the hunt for Lonergan, we should not be surprised, they are obsessed with us. The figure being banded about is £200,000. Is that really all he is worth in this market place??? Wolves and Blackburn are leading the hunt for McCormack, surely he must be worth 2m of anyones money. I understand his contract is running out, but....
Morning all and good to see a few new supporters joining and posting ahead of what 'could' be a very exciting season. Always good to have strength in numbers in anticipation for the WUM's although I don't think we shall see as many next season if/when the big T/O happens. Lonergan has to be worth at least the same fee as Kenny, even if Kenny is rated slightly better you have to take age into account. Add to this the amount of teams searching for a keeper at the moment, £200k is far too cheap. McCormack - Always good when you have more than one team chasing a player that you 'might' be looking to shift. £2M for a player that cost around £350k is pretty good business as long as it is spent wisely. I know the against selling him crew will say you cannot replace 20 goals for that kind of price but unlike Beckford I don't believe McCormack has a nailed on 20 goals a season in him. If he is not going to be a regular feature in Warnocks team it could be a case of cash in now for him. McCormack is a player who needs lots of game time, if he doesn't get that and the goals dry up then his value is only going to plummet. In an ideal world we would keep him but with the T/O taking far too long and a limited budget I have to say I feel sacrificing McCormack for Austin and Peltier and still having around 1.25M in change for new players is a better option. I do worry about the links with Varney and Norris although many seem to rate Varney?
Morning!! Moving house today, oh joy. Lonners should go for at least £400k, McCormack can be hit and miss, Varney was awesome at Blackpool but his injury may have knackered him.
Always good to see fresh blood, as it is for a few of those that have not been on for a while to pop back again like bires yer leg and Durham, lets make em all feel welcome. Austin seems a huge power house, can imagine him and Green bossing the midfield. If McCormack does go, we need another forward that can bang em in, Becchio can blow hot and cold, and has had a few injuries in the last two years, and who knows what kinda player Somma will be when he FINALLY comes back. I'd love Norris in our squad, though Varney, at his age, is still unproven
Hey im new here glad i finally found a place for us die hard leeds lads. Varney i think could do really well with us he has got a decent season left in him at least i feel. Lonners will go prob get around 150k i reckon as for ross who knows i dont think anyone is quite sure yet.

The Millwall board is a pretty dead and deserted place so a few of them spend as much time on here as they can. Some of the WUM is funny, some of it makes you yawn but they are a harmless bunch. It never gets too nasty with them, wait till the season gets started and we play the likes of Hull and Leicester, some of their supporters will really do your head in.

Morning all. I'll be sad to see Lonners go. But if we get anything like 2million for McCormack then we've got to be happy with that, as long as we get to reinvest it.
