    Just received in my inbox:

"Saturday's game is not what anyone connected with Fulham FC either expected or wanted, and like every supporter the boys and staff are hugely frustrated right now. The fans on Saturday, as ever, travelled in huge numbers and were so loud for the entire game. What they got on the pitch was not what they deserved.

In the short time I've been playing in front of you both at Craven Cottage and on the road, I can't put into words how much easier it is with all of you behind us. We need you all to keep up that superb support.
So all I can say to you right now is please stick with us, and let us try and repay that faith you've put in the team. I’m sure we’ll see some of you at Forest tomorrow night, but I really hope to see as many of you as possible on Saturday at the Cottage.

It's time for us to stand up and be counted, and with you behind us at the Cottage on Saturday, I know It will make a difference in helping us to get those crucial points.

    Keep the faith!

    Emerson Hyndman"

To me this reads that we are in for big changes!!!

Interesting. Hyndman probably didn't have any input into this at all and is the club just using his name. But there is definitely a sub text here. Has Felix's future been decided already and the club, expecting a thumping, are moving to put a little plan in motion that can see him sacked when this happens and this email is just the first step in the plan?

They are also desperate to keep the gates receipts up by the looks of things. I daresay they were expecting us to be toward the top of the table with receipts holding up. How many will turn up with the team wallowing at the bottom of the league and playing poor football? I think the first home gate of the season was something like 6,000 down, be interesting to see what it is on Saturday.

I think reading between the lines, the team wants the fans supporting them at home on Saturday, unless I missed something?
If the fans give up, what chance does this young side of ours have?

Because if the team is failing, the fans are leaving in numbers, someone has to pay!

Actually when I called today for a ticket it was dead quiet. One of the staff was sorting out a visit by British Gas!

Cottager that's 7/8 thousand down on last season, and if we maintain our superb form under the present
coaching staff we will loose another 5/8 thou!.
And on the subject of a new man at the helm Steve Wigley,as this young side is basically of his formulation,
cant be any worse than the incompetent incumbrant.

Ah just saw this and posted on a similar topic in other thread. Hyndman will have signed it off not doubt but not written it - seems a few places are taking this tact, substituting company name for a person, makes a person more likely to open and read apparently. Parker before, can't wait for Bryan's one !

A very interesting article in Mondays Metro under blogs which sums up
our demise and reasons for it.

That's interesting, because I read it completely differently. To me it seems like an effort to utilise one of the few brighter spots in our horrible season thus far to try and placate fans and keep the numbers up. I'm not sure they would make that statement if Magath was going to be sacked, as they know the fans would turn up at the Cottage on Saturday if Magath had gone by then.

I don't see any changes by Saturday. It's also a little sad that our PR is so poor that we have to use Emerson's name like this.

    Attendance yesterday v Blackburn 16,456

(But still more than our neighbours up in W12 - 16,163 were in attendance; with 1,028 of them from Stoke)

If we coud get around the 18/20 thousand mark it would be like having an extra man.
Mind you 11 on the pitch for 90 min would help.
