What a good looking card at Aintree today i have to say. On paper at least pretty much every race looks very competitive. Probably a nightmare from a betting perspective but from a viewing perspective should be a cracker

Always brings to my mind a song called 'Tailgunner' by one of Britain's finest heavy rock bands Iron Maiden. In it Bruce sings ' the enola gay was my last try'. Of course nowadays bombing is done by computers as opposed to someone sitting on the back of plane firing at the enemy..

Anyway I digress..Grade Ones tip Enola Gay big chance in this race.:emoticon-0148-yes:

Paint The Dream - chaser in the making, won handicap hurdle from 120 so I think 127 is doable over fences. Nice pipeopener in the Persian War - overpriced after 18/1

Dulhallow Gesture - really good bumper mare who showed last season that she can replicate form over hurdles. Yard in better form this season and she is very fairly handicapped. - 12/1 looked too big

Rock The Kasbah - best horse in the badger but has an in out profile. Fairly handicapped as result and yard going well. - 10/1 looks fair enough to me

Morning all..some great jumps action on itv today. 2 bets for me:

Aintree 1.30pm The Last Day 5/2 . Has some very good novice form and goes very well fresh. Form figures of 1213118 on soft or worse. Last run he hosed up by 8 lengths. Strong fancy for me today.

Wincanton 3.35pm White Moon 5/1 each way. I think he is the most unexposed in the field and whilst has gone up 5lbs for his last fence fall at this course he could of won that race by 7 or 8 lengths. There is a doubt thst last fence fall might have knocked his confidence but I m taking a chance he 'll put in a clear round.

    Good luck all.

I saw that White Moon race pops and thought he was just starting to run out of steam and I’m not sure he would have won. I can’t help feeling this comes quick enough today but I wish you luck (no bet race for me).
