Dolniya (track) and Flintshire (arsechaser) had to be taken on at those odds, if you didnt know that maybe your in the wrong game.
on Ayrad 50/1 last night I expect him to win. Think this is a much better horse than it appears and he might just be ready to show it. They are worried about the track for Dolniya and while Flintshire is a high class horse with the best form, he is an 4rse chaser, neither are of interest at the prices. Romsdal needs a stiffer test than hes going to get here and Pethers Moon doesnt seem to be quite at the level he was last season. Sheikzayedroad has had a poor preperation for the race.
Nor would I, but pleased Stravagante showed he's a reasonable animal. That handicap at Sandown was a good race
Afternoon boys First time in years I didn't have a bet in the Derby because let's face it, any fecker can win these big flat races. Form completely goes out the window, the bookies write these winners. Pethers Moon, Qualify, etc etc Anyway, in saying all that I have now backed Giovanni each-way
Western Warhorse won the Arkle, damn you jump racing. Giovanni Canaletto for the pocket, Golden Horn for the flat, woeful price though.
That's one race 16 months ago! This fecking rancid stuff fires out joke results repeatedly Boris! Guessing game, you wouldn't see Faugheen chinned on the line by a 50s shot!
My dart has landed on .............................. (don't laugh) ............................... Success Days e/w It would be nice for a small operation to win the Derby ....................
Nor would you see it with Frankel or any other legit superstar on the flat! But we are talking about Dolniya who won in dubai and the biggest arse chaser since Youmzain in Flintshire, running against a solid Group 2 horse in Pethers Moon on a dodgy course, hardly an earth shattering result. Flintshire would get himself beat in a walkover.
With my concerns about Elm Parks suitability for the track I was torn between Gio and your lad and his sire was Jeremy and he won on gd/frm so maybe this going things overplayed? Went for Gio though but any fecker can win these things, flat racing AKA bookies racing!
Arsechaser You'd not want to use that expression around the east end of Glasgow on a Saturday night I'd guess
Supplemented for the race, unbeaten in three runs this season but all when the going was soft to heavy or heavy, so very different going today. It wouldn't surprise me very much if Moheet (trained by Richard Hannon) won, finished 8th in the 2,000 Guineas.
