Dolniya went at a dawdle that was never going to be any good for Flintshire. That was why I left him alone today as the tourists were the only top class horses in the race. With all that money up for grabs, how come only four managed to make it to post? Well done to Pat Dobbs on the winner Pether’s Moon. It is not a Group 1 horse but now it is a Group 1 winner. Later in the season when the likes of Sir Michael Stoute are moaning that they cannot find a race for Telescope, somebody remind him that he could have run at Epsom.
