Can't believe none of you flat types have mentioned the fact that Wesley Ward sends one over for the Brocklesby?

Grey Mirage 2.30 Kempton 11/1. He clearly has ability and his one win came towards the end of his season last year. He beat Sovereign Debt back then. He has finished close to Shyron the last twice without getting clear runs. He has dropped to a decent mark and could go close.

The money is coming for the Johnston/Fanning combination again:emoticon-0100-smile

I guess they don't have much races for two year olds on turf over in America.

Am utterly disappointed we don't see Simonsig tomorrow however MAAREK has yet again ventured over the Irish channel to run in a listed race! May not be the same G1 horse from a couple of years ago but is better than a listed horse - has his ground and on the pick of last years form (don't forget he won a 5f listed race on good ground beating a few of these and he loves a bog) and the extra furlong may give him just enough time for spencer to kick on the turbos and go from last to first just at the last minute as the horse loves to do - can't believe he's now 6/1 is a cracking price

I'm not so sure he does need a bog, Woolley.
3 wins on heavy, against 11 wins on soft. Granted it IS soft tomorrow so all boxes ticked then!

I'm more put off by his recent runs after a break. He HAS won first time out but for trainersother than his current yard.
I'm pinning MY hopes on Alben Star who looks absolutely primed for this

But as I have never had the Lincoln winner in 50 years of trying, I doubt that bookies are running scared!

I might take a chance with the old boy Knockara Beau in the 2.20 Kelso. His form this year doesn't look bad at all having just been held by Singlefarmpayment on his first outing this season. He then beat home Camping Ground and The Young Master in the cleeve hurdle. It's easy to ignore his run in the world hurdle. He has a couple of bits of form on better ground but would probably like a bit of juice in the ground. This is probably the easy test he has had this year.
    A small punt at 10/1

    For tomorrow

    Best Bet
    Kempton
    4.10 Redstart 7-2
This was thought a live G1 horse last season after winning the Fred Darling only to disappoint in the 1000G, the horse was put away and it is hoped the connections patience will be rewarded this season, this horse will likely not be seen on the all weather again this season if hopes are realised and 7-2 about it today is a fantastic price.

    Best value
    Doncaster 2.45 Lincoln
    Battle of Marathon 33-1 EW
This horse ran for Ballydoyle as a 2yo and after winning a maiden was campaigned at group level without either troubling the judge nor being disgraced. At 3yo he had two runs the first in G3 and the next at Listed class. He was then sold out of Ballydoyle and brought by J. Ryan and sent to Dubai in January where he has once again run in quality races without making any impact, whilst he may not be up to winning this I think he will go a lot closer than a 33-1 shot would be expected and if getting one of those bookie chaps who offer five places on the race I think he could be a cracking each way bet.

    Next Best
    Doncaster
    5.05 Amazing Red 7-1
Ryan Moore rode a winner for connections on the all weather on Thursday and by the looks of it could have rode one or two others in this race, I think this one will be ready to go tomorrow.

    Scoop 6/Lucky 63:

    2:15 Donny - Azraff 8/1
    2:30 Kempton - Solar Flair 6/1
    2:45 Donny - Mutarakez 9/1
    3:05 Newbury - Simply Wings 6/1
    3:20 Donny - Gracious John 10/1
    3:40 Newbury - Antartica De Thaix 11/2

In the 3:20 i've also got Jack Dexter in there to make it two lines on scoop 6 as i couldn't decide between that and Gracious John.

I've also done for a bit of fun a small stakes ew lucky 31 on:

    2:35 Newbury - Harry's Farewell 13/2
    3:00 Kempton - Harry Hurricane 6/1
    4:50 Newbury - Whispering Harry 9/1
    5:15 Navan - Tipped Up Harry 2/1
    6:10 Donny - I'm Harry 5/1

Footy acca Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Stoke, West Ham pays around 18/1
