Two major fancies in handicaps tomorrow and had a decent punt on both in midweek; THEOS CHARM 2.25 Ascot 8/1 is a novice that I like a lot and I honestly feel that he has been given a big chance by the handicapper & REVE DE SIVOLA 3.15 Haydock 9/2 (took 11/2) who is an obvious pick on his hurdles form off the paltry chase mark that he has.
So let the first proper Mullins accumulators of 2016 start! Boris if it comes in this weekend, dont you be going scared come Cheltenham week ( I must say I backed these earlier this week when the prices weren't nearly as bad- it did pay 3/1) UN DE SCEUAX, VROUM VROUM MAG, FAUGHEEN, DOUVAN - It now pays a little over 2/1 add THE NEW ONE (which I have done too just now) pays 4/1 Come on, who else is on ???
Now for my two serious picks 3.15 Haydock - KATENKO- 12/1 Showed last time out he retains some of that ability he showed a couple of years ago- was travelling well when he made a race ending blunder is 8lbs lower than when going close in this race 2014 and is back on his last winning mark, trainer had a winner today, horse will love the ground should run his race 3.35 Ascot - SALUBRIOUS- 11/2 Not lived up to expectations over fences but he did still win his two first chase starts so got job done , he did run pretty well over 3m here in a handicap so the drop back in trip should bring out some improvement in him but altho does need a bit more but it is time for Nichols to start getting back in to the Saturday winners
Vroum Vroum Mag 1/2 & Un de Sceaux 4/6 (Hills) double pays 6/4. We're going to see Mullins charge go odds on tomorrow for the Champion Chase, so don't all be crying when the inevitable happens tomorrow! If you fancy him, get on now At Haydock in the 1.30 we see Otago Trail who my regulars will recall I flagged up 2 starts ago opposes Bristol de Mai (regular readers may also recall I also lost my bollocks on this lad at Sandown 2 starts ago). I'm on Miss Williams charge at 2/1.
12.40 Ascot sees this year's Triumph Hurdle winner enhance his reputation Gibralfaro He wins this and then the Adonis and the Triumph. Backed him at 16s for the Triumph today, that will be long gone tomorrow.
Just my mate is looking to buy shares in a horse and this is extra just wondering if that was standard??
1.00 Haydock- BAYWING- 9/4 A horse massively on the up , won very impressivley lto when he had Bangkok Pete (the horse I'm on in my avatar)in second and again has had a rise in the weights and rise in class it's hard to see where the ball drops on his improve my and this looks very winnable for him again
No mate. The deal we have with Michael is all inclusive. He paid for Squires wind op and physio last year and has met all the vet bills for Buzz during his recent problems. You need to read the small print in these deals as most will add extraordinary vet bills to your tab. The deal Michael gives us is unbeatable in my opinion. Foxtrot used to cover vet bills also but they were double what we pay Michael.
Here is my play for tomorrow Desert Queen 1.50 7s Cold March 3.35 8s Itsafreebee 2.05 5s Island Confusion 3.50 4s Goodluck everyone
