3 45 York - LITIGANT 33/1, get on it ASAP, this has been plotted up for this for a long while ( actually 2 years in the making ), has purposely been kept off the track for a while to be kept fresh and is expected to win tomorrow. Still 40s available chelsea.Backed Clondaw Warrior earlier in the week at 10s so will have a little ew saver on your lad, cheers.
I like three tomorrow. Toscanini 3.35 curragh. Ran well behind Mattmu previously and that fella held up the form in the nunthorpe. Fast ground will suit so expecting a big run and I'm happy with the 3-1. Chillworth icon 3.25 sandown. Been running well all season and deserves to get his head in front tomorrow. Won the race last year on similar ground. Mount logan 2.50 sandown. Really impressed with his run at goodwood and he's seems like he might keep improving. Good luck all.
I see Fields Of Athenry has changed hands since his last win. He was owned by Magnier but now Flemming Velin owns him. Anyone an idea was it sold because the bid was too good to turn down or was there an agreement or what?
I backed this lad the last day out where Harley stuck him up every horses arse he could in order to not get a run through. It looked like a hard luck story but it was a blatant non trier. It looks a decent handicap this one, but he was up to something the last day for sure.
Good luck with your punts boys. I've nipped on to say that flat racing leaves me cold. I hope Clondaw wins for those that have punted him but taking 6/1 in a 20odd runner handicap at York seems ****ing ludicrous to me. I'll be back for the jumps season. With that I bid you all adieu. For now.
Anyone got any thoughts on the biggest sporting clash of the weekend. Gatlin v Bolt in Beijing. Gatlin 11-10. Bolt 10-11. Think when it comes to the crunch Bolt will come through although the days of the coming away from the field in the final 30 metres seem a thing of the past. At a touch over evens it's a good win bet in my book.
Huge price for Bolt didn't realise it was that, definitely be having a large bet on that, he won't let the druggy beat him
I agree Chelsea. No way Bolt runs and let's the sport he loves be over shadowed by a druggie. Definite win for Bolt. Gatlin been running some impressive times so should push him though. Any chance of new world record??
Great price for Bolt who is probably juiced up as well mind, but Gatlin is a disgrace I hope pulls a hamstring while leading in the final.
The general advice today should be simply to avoid York unless you are certain how the race is going to be run. If your horse’s form includes phrases like “held up towards rear”, you have no chance unless the front runners go off too quickly. I have no idea why Mahsoob is dropping back to nine furlongs in the opener; and he and Top Notch Tonto are both hold up horses. I like Farhh’s brother Basem but he has a lot to find and this flat track may not suit. Front runner Mondialiste trotted up in a Pontefract Listed race last time and can step up and win this for David O’Meara. I note that when trained by Freddie Head he was two lengths third in the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat on soft ground. Switch to the Gimcrack (3:10) where the field is a manageable size. Steady Pace was a good third in the Richmond Stakes, the runner-up of which won the sales race on Thursday. There has to be a question mark over the trip for Wesley Ward’s raider Finnegan, so despite the Group 2 penalty this looks like one to stick with the form pick, Coventry Stakes winner and Phoenix Stakes third BURATINO. I will stay well away from those huge field York handicaps as there are two or three in each that owe me money! Over at Sandown, the pattern races have been moved to the top of the card for TV purposes. In a very open Atalanta Stakes (1:45), I like course and distance winner BLOND ME to confirm Eclipse day running with Montalcino and Black Cherry. I backed Black Cherry that day and Hughes gave her a dreadful ride so Patt Dobbs will probably bolt up today!
Nice listed handicap event at Newton Abbot also Oddy. Buratino withdrawn from the Gimcrack as expected. Bit of an overload to the senses today with so much meetings taking place. Best of luck to those taking ze bookies on.
