Really looking forward to seeing Noel Meade's Monksland make his chasing debut at Gowran Park. If he jumps around safely, he should be up to winning this race and it opens up a host of possibilities over the large ones for the rest of the season, exciting novice he should be.
Have a good day ste and exotic I'm just an hour away from Gowran, play golf there regularly too and I could have went tomorrow but my local team are involved in an U21 district final so I will be there during the afternoon watching that. Try get up on the balcony and sip a few brewskis for the afternoon and back some winners and wrap up warm...brrr

Stick/Nass - Crazy Penguin tomorrow i presume? Form couldn't be any better opened at 7/1 and already down to 9/2.
The Ricci novice was touted by Rich at the start of the season. American Tom. Watching brief but it could easily be the biggest price we see about him till Cheltenham. Worth taking it in. 1pm Gowran.
Red Hanharan in the first at ascot, would have trounced them at wetherby but for falling 3 out! Compensation awaits @ 15/8
Just backed this one myself along with Nicholls other two, Conti and Irving. Could be a good day for him.
Smashing 2/1 in the Gowran 2.45 tomorrow looks the bet. He loves heavy ground and I think this is his trip. Can't wait to see Vautour light up Ascot tomorrow. Be nice to see him look really good going right handed before Boxing Day. Is it just me underwhelmed by the Betfair Chase, nothing in it will be mapped in the Gold Cup and I swear that's even the same line up that's been there the last 3 years! The BHA million quid bonus eh, sterling work there methinks!
Shocking turnout for the Lancashire Chase Beefy, very probably too close to races like the Hennessey and John Durkan to attract more than the usual suspects. Thought Willie might have sent one over though - Djakadam for example? I hope the race shows them that Cue Card is not a Gold Cup horse, get him to the Ryanair again
Seemed either a bit of a half cocked idea or a rush job by the BHA Oddy. Announcing it a month before the first leg was piss poor. These trainers have the Gold Cup horses targets pinpointed from late summer/early autumn so if they wanted to actually attract new entries they should have come out with it then. Unless of course they'd rather not have to pay out a million quid...
Poor show for the Betfair chase. Looks tailor made for the upset but couldn't back BALLYNAGOUR with huge confidence. Apparently it's soft at Ascot- any problems with that for Vautour? By the way Beef did anything ever come to light when he threw in that shocker last Christmas when beat in atrocious conditions at 2m by Clarcam? Obviously keen to know given his outstanding performances on spring ground at Cheltenham as to whether he may have any issues on soft tomorrow or in a King George for example. If this thing can settle nice and early in his races then crikey he will make a KG horse. He has a LOT of speed though! Fascinating. LAY BETS: ROCK ON RUBY IRVING
I can't work out why Vautour who is supposed to be Gold Cup bound isn't going to Haydock for the Betfair Chase. Surely that would be an ideal race to test out his stamina. As it is the Betfair Chase is looking like one of the weakest renewals for along time, not 1 horse who you could give a strong chance in the GC come March is running. I was hoping Don Cossack would be over aswell, particularly when there's that million pound on offer for the treble of Betfair Chase, KG and Gold Cup
For a long time?...the race has only been going 10 years and after Haydock ripped out their fabulous drop fences. It started off on the inner course which was too tight according to P Nicholls who supposed that the track didn't suit any of his GC horses...believe Kauto Star unseatesd there despite winning it 4 times. Not a race that excites me apart from the great Kauto legacy.
Silviniaco Conti doesn't get the credit he deserves, his record away from Cheltenham is superb. He's clearly not suited to the course but that doesn't stop him being a top grade 1 staying chaser
