I use Racebets for my betting because their coverage is really good here in Germany, get to watch all races etc. I have been a customer with them for about 10 years now. Anyway, just logged on and saw they were going 8/1 Flemenstar tomorrow so I placed a decent-sized win bet. When I clicked on "bet now" the old egg-timer appeared for about 20 seconds and then a messaged popped up saying the price had changed to 7/1. KUNTZ.
Barney - I see Savello is out tomorrow this the prep run for Cheltenham over hurdles - also I see he's changed connections - to the Skeltons very good for horse and trainer!!
Assuming Ruby stays aboard this one at Fairyhouse TOWNSHEND (9/4 with Paddys) should win well on debut. Highly regarded.
FLEETWOOD POPPY 1.25 very well handicapped and would have been much closer last time had not been carried wide at the bend. She might need to get things her own way but if she does definate outrun 20/1 outsider odds. Nice EW punt.
Foxtrot have a horse running in the race called DYNAMO who is split between Skelton for summer jumping and Hughes for winter AW campaign. Hughes has done a grand job running over an inadequate trip to get him a nice handicap mark and low and behold now they have him in a handicap off a silly mark they are upping him trip. Not sure that Fleetwood Poppy would even be the yard first string mate!
I think she will turn the first string as you say over...its a weak race..she caught my eye last time...i knew i would be out on a limb with her..be interesting if there was a market move for the Foxtrot runner..
Had some good luck last Saturday so fingers crossed for more of the same, Cheltenham buzz has well and truly started. Im not too keen on Yala Enki dropping back in trip but i can't see any of the others getting near him from the front. He will go a good gallop and will stay all day. Drumacoo was mighty impressive and on a line through Fletchers Flyer he should have the beating of the Hobbs horse. Vyta Du Roc doesnt look the same over fences but the step up in trip is bound to suit him. I can see Ballyalton filling the places but shame theres only 6 runners. Very keen on the Pauling's horse to force his way near the top of the RSA market with a big performance. Sausilito Sunrise looks to have a great chance in the 2.25 but odds reflect that, im keen on taking him on with Bally Beaufort, he won easily off 135 over an inadequate trip and was then highly tried on his latest 2 runs for which he is back down to 142 with Hatch taken a further 3lbs off - he will handle conditions and is a decent price. Im shocked at Flemanstar's price tomorrow. He has got better with every run this season and made Felix Yonger work hard over 2miles last time. He is better over further and ground conditions will suit. Not a fan of Conti dropping in trip and he seems to have lost that zest he had past few years, if anything his strong front running ride will set this up for the Irish horse. Dynaste is another who looks lost currently and the Mare tends to come good this time of year but is likely just short of what should be needed here. At Fishers Cross ran a nice race on seasonal debut, finishing 2nd and they took him on a different path to every other horse which looked to be the worst part of the course. He jumped okay but absolutely clattered 1 and lost plenty of lengths and he tends to badly need his first run anyway. Should relish conditions and gets 10lbs from Reve. I'd ne disappointed if any of the others were good enough to even get near these 2. Broadway Buffalo as mentioned on other thread. 4 runner race but having a go on the outsider for Lucinda Russell - Throthethatch was travelling well and got to the leader before making a hash of the 3rd out and losing all momentum and is kept to mark of 116. Gets plenty of weight from the fav in what will be gruelling conditions.
If you asked The Don who was my favourite horse in the yard on looks then he would confirm its her. All looks but sadly not much ability. Best of luck though, if I hear anything I will pass it on.
3:00 Ascot - Roadie Joe 14/1 am confident of a big run and looks overpriced in my opinion. Will be surprised if it finishes out of the placings so have gone ew which will still return a decent enough profit
