Sorry it's early but there's a couple at Perth I like the look of tomorrow so i thought i'd get the ball rolling. 4.15 Kian's Delight 5/1 confident each way bet. 4.45 Catch The Fire 8/1 confident each way bet Each way double as well.
Fooking hell Quel you will be starting a thread for the festival tomorrow Good luck with them fella ABATED in the opener at Newbury tomorrow is supposedly a good horse
I'm back in blighty for the weekend so shall be having a dabble at the local Ladbrokes - mebbe just a Lucky 31. Be down the working mens club in the afternoon playing snooker and sinking pints with my old man and my brother
RV - first game back in the Championship for the Owls. Unfortunately Derby could only provide us with 6000 tickets Quel - Mr Henderson sends one up for the 4.15 - surely one to fear?
RV take a look at the Perth bumper tomorrow, and in particular the owner and silks of the bottom one. It isn't is it?
Odddy not enough for your lot that is it . haha WOR LASS black and white - loving it. NEY ****ING CHANCE
Should win but no chance I could back it at that price. Not convinced he is going to be that good. Henderson wouldn't have him out this time of year if he thought otherwise imo.
Agreed - 2/9 on Betfair Surprised he's sending him out in a piss race like that again. Should've had him up at Perth for the big one
Deffo Odddy but who are we to question the forums Favourite trainer. Got myself some beers for the Championship opener tonight. Fancy a comfortable victory for Cardiff
Footy form hard to judge so early in the season. Be interesting to see how Jordan Rhodes does 1 league higher - scored for Scotland midweek
He's a danger Oddy but I'm happy with Kian's delight. Ran a massive, massive race last time out, has Tom O'Brien on board (who choose this over Smallib Monterg) and I think there's more to come. There's more reasoning to it than just that but can't be arsed elaborating This will win unless something's been laid out for tomorrow IMHO which is why I'm on for a max each way. Similar confidence behind Catch the Fire. Now all they have to do is go out and prove me right. If they both lose and don't place I'll be wiped out.
Evening all, one for me at the moment! 15.30 Ripon- Our Jonathon- 14/1 (NAP) Thrives in these types of handicaps, and especially over this his optimum distance. He was impressive when winning at a career best in the Ayr Gold Cup last september and since then has put in some pretty good performaces- including a 2nd to Libranno at salisbury and a decent 3rd 2 weeks ago over 7f 14days ago and that race holds some alright form with the 2nd place beating the likes of Boomerang Bob & Bogart and 1st place running a good race against some stiff competition at Goodwood. He also ran in this race a year ago where he was 6lb higher than he is tomorrow. On his day he is a class horse and he has been building up to run a big race again this year, and this will be his race and at 14/1 is a huge price for this smart, consistent performer.
14.30 Newbury- Harris Tweed- 7/1 I nearly went against one of my favourite flat horses in training, but couldnt not back him. This is his kind of race, won very well here on his 1st outing of the season, he has likes the ground either on the soft side or the firm side of good. His last 2 outings have been very disappointing most recently when 4th of 7 at newmarket behind fiorente but i can excuse them and will give him another chance, All of the field have questions about them and this is a wide open race, but if he can dictate the race from the front which he likes to do and liam jones doesnt go for home to early he will win this at this biggest price he has been for the last 6 outings
15.40 Newbury -Redvers- 9/1 Impressed me when winning at ascot over distance Lto and altho he has a 6lb penalty to deal with, he can carry on the good role he is on!
Lumped on Cardiff at HT 11/10 by the end of that half they looked like they were going to score. Once the first one comes I expect at least another one to follow quickly.
Odddy ayeee . And apparently a hamstring injury. But I expect him to be playing premier league football in the next few weeks. Abso buzzing for the game tmz mind - fuming at 5.30 kick off time though. More time for drink I suppose and then York on Wednesday - FRANKEL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
