Willie 'Cash Machine' Mullins enters Clondaw Warrior in the stayers race at Ascot. Been told the horse wasn't right lto and to ignore the run.Best price 20/1 (PP) I think he has definite place claims at a nice price.It will be interesting to see what Willie says about his chances in the Racing Post tomorrow;CW could go off alot shorter come race time.
All eyes will be on Ascot tomorrow and what attire the Minor Royals are wearing but, if my regular readers will allow it, a second glance at Ffos Las deep in the Welsh wilderness might be called for. Michael Blake saddles both Hassadin (2.35) and Sinndar’s Man (4.20). Hassadin relishes a stamina test and he will certainly get that in the 3 mile handicap hurdle. He’s been in good heart his last couple of races and can finally get back in the old winners enclosure here. The mare who finished a place behind Hassadin, last time, has subsequently bolted up by 10 lengths to give solidity to his current form and a perch of 90 gives him every, and I do mean every, chance. Meanwhile, 10 months ago Sinndar’s Man was running in a Grade 1 for those terrible old rogues, the Pipe’s. He gets into tomorrow’s 20 furlong handicap on 108 and that looks exploitable. Sinndar’s Man ran no sort of race last time but that was because he found the ‘good to firm’ ground far, far too lively. Previously he had put up a sound effort at Uttoxeter and looks good value at decent odds (Sporting Life are currently forecasting 14/1). There really is no reason why current connections can't return him to the form of 10-12 months ago - when he was a dual winner, rated 120 and, as I say, a runner in a Grade 1. Good luck all.
Can't help but think Forgotten Rules 6/1 is fair value as he gets his conditions. Definitely the classy one in the field if he puts his best foot forward. each-way I have to again look at conditions and think that ELM PARK 16/1 looks most interesting as I'm fairly certain Gleneagles will bale in the morning leaving Solow as heavy fav. Elm Park is unbeaten at a mile, his Dante run looks better than ever after Golden Horn and Jack Hobbs emphatically franked form and possibly even better if you take the view that Elm Park lacked stamina for a mile and a half in the Derby and possibly Dante , which on pedigree is unsurprising. The French raider Vadamos is well thought of by Fabre and has had this as his target for a while and personally I think he may turn Jack Hobbs over. Really looking at being an Each-way thief, Lightning Spear 40/1 is not far off AROD level of form and given his overall profile in tying in with Australia, Grey Gatsby, Night Of Thunder and Solow, he should relish a little bit of give and also interestingly the extra 2f.
Cracking days racing looking at the Ascot card for me, very hard to find any winners though. Will have a good bash as it is the last flat meeting I will be playing on until April next season.
Just read o'briens comments, 1mm of rain and they won't run and also they couldn't state at this point which way it goes! From that I think he's a non starter

12.45 ASCOT - FORGOTTEN RULES Like Toppy I also like Forgotten Rules, has won 4 out of his 7 races including this race last year when going in to the race unbeaten he tw. a fine third on fast ground in this years gold cup! Altho out of sorts since his navan win he has been running and giving weight against some top horses like Bondi Beach and Order of St George with a mini break back to his optimum trip and cut in the ground and back at Ascot he should have enough to get his head back in front

The going and the trip are both a journey into the unknown Wooly. The trainer likes him but really does not know if he will see the trip out, big chance if he does and EMPIRE STORM will have a massive chance in the race also, never runs a bad race and on that Ascot form he should have the beating at the weights on Buckstay and Gabriels Lad. I have backed EMPIRE STORM at 25/1 earlier today!

Yep i was wondering if it would come too Stick as obviously it's stepping up in class but it duly came around 4pm quickly rushed down and grabbed some £150 @ 9s! And another £200 @ 8s, owes me nothing, but it will definitely be bang there and everything will be left on the line as they're planning to send it off to stud after tomorrow as it's such a fragile horse but a real classy horse which is a shame, bit like the Rafa Nadal of horse racing either way Tuite yard really really fancy it's chances and the horse couldn't be in better shape. I love it's turn of foot too, stays all day but still has that rapid acceleration speed
15:05 Ascot - Vadamos (Already mentioned by TopClass above, this André Fabre trained colt is, as Timeform notes, something of an unknown quantity. Improving all the time, and step-up in distance should be no problem; the same can be said for the softish ground conditions. Had a small play with Corals at the current best price of 7/1).
On a side note, Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Southampton all win today at around 7/2, fill your boots, it is printing money.
Surely Tom Marquand to win the apprentice title at 2/7 is buying money! 1 win in front with 5 rides at Catterick, Garrity rides 2 at ascot @ 20/1 and 33/1 so you're getting 2/7 he doesn't ride a winner or am I missing something
