Needs to win this to go up 5lb and get in at Chelters at the bottom of the weights, might be the aim?

Bloody lousy plan if you have to win a race the week before the festival to get in. You never know though .......

Really interesting runner tomorrow for a number of reasons.
He won this race in 2019 and races tomorrow off a mark 4lb lower.
When he won this race in 2019 he was coming off a 140 day absence, tomorrow he running off a 175 day absence.
Its a while since he won but he run consistently in the meantime and therefore taking a long time to drop in the ratings.
For good measure the yard are legging up a 7lb claimer, I dont know of him but this horse is very uncomplicated so I see that as a positive.

I like a couple of longshots at Sandown in Sometimes Always and Mick Maestro (both 25/1).

Good morning horsey peeps :) Todays telly cards truly marked for your entertainment!

    Sand

150 Ocean Drifter ew Market mover apparently, yet he was 12-1 last night, so not sure where they benchmark from.
225 Leoncavallo ew 6 places, I don't usually do ew but surely he has to be in the first 6? EDIT: NR's have removed 6 places and best now is 4 places.
    300 Rainyday Woman unbeatable
335 Up The Straight - somewhere my tee-off shot rarely goes!

    Wokves

205 Mum’s Tipple – owes me big time, hopefully today is payback time!
240 Zwayyan (sorry Stickler, but I have to agree!)
315 Juan Les Pins - hopeful

    Good luck all <ok>

Nothing for me today gonna take the weekend off what with 4 days on the spin coming up...

Such a shame re news of some significant non runners this week at Cheltenahm and I get the impression some of the handicaps won't be as competitive with some owners electing not to run. Guess the fact they can't be there is obviously a factor but it's still Cheltenham and they ll be competitive enough..

Can't wait to Tuesday although will be very different ...all 4 days booked off. Good luck those having a bet today...:emoticon-0167-beer:

Struggling Oddy. I think it is Prestbury Park but I've looked at last year's results and can't find a winner with No 10 or 20 with a grey in 2nd. Am I anywhere close?

It is the Cheltenham festival Ron, but a bit further back in time. The winner is the only mare to win the race in its brief history.

It was the first leg of a trixie I had on the day - Shattered Love won the Golden Miller, later in the day Pennhill won the stayers hurdle. In between Geraghty got caught showboating on Glenloe in the Pertemps and Davey Russell got a better jump at the last on Delta Work. Glenloe lost by a nose and cost me a fecking fortune.
