Ours runs in the Towton 1.10 Wetherby, race has cut up dramatically and only 4 go at the moment. I notice 365 go 21/4 for 2 places 1/4 odds. We are being slightly overlooked in the market as we believe we have a decent chance.

Surprising and disappointing that Mullins has scratched his runner - but good for you <ok>. Wish you the very best of luck <cheers>

100%, not sure why as I fully expected it to be a mission for a mark for the Kim Muir.

I read the other day that Mullins thought they'd blown his Kim Muir mark with the victory at Christmas.

Yeah he's rated 145 in Ireland now so no way he's getting in the Kim Muir

Some spiel about a Grand National tilt too. Who knows what direction the finger is pointing now.

@Ardent1965 - Tom Cody opens 7/2 Bet365, seems comparative with Val Dancer the other day - 3.25 Wetherby, should be lovely soft ground, but at best Soft with a touch of g/s in places.

Perculator 13.40 Wetherby I wouldn't be surprised to see a big run from this mare tmrw.

Had a pipe opener so strips fitter...down to a mark of 96 from opening mark of 105. Didn't run at all badly at Wetherby in March over the trip of 103.

    Currently 10/1 Bet365

First time cheek pieces will race prominently and have every chance.

Hermino Aa at 25/1 EW in the Lanzarote. A bit of form behind Howlingmadmurdock nearly a year ago would suggest he has a fair bit of scope off his current mark if he can cut out the jumping errors. Good luck all, at least there’s more of a premier feel to the racing tomorrow.

Steps up in trip again course and distance winner. A 5yo on the upgrade open to any amount of improvement.

A nice bit of ground at Kempton too - getting tired of these mud-festivals.

Talented jockey David Maxwell :) has an interesting runner in the opening juvenile hurdle at Kempton and that looks a nice little contest. In the Silviniaco Conti Chase it will be very interesting to see how Banbridge goes on seasonal debut. He certainly has the ground in his favour and could lay down a serious Ryanair marker. Leave the Lanzarote to Lieutenant Henderson - maybe dutching his two "a la Ron" might be the best advice, coupled with the reverse forecast.

Over at Warwick, the Hampton Novices chase looks a corker and I hope the wonderful Broadway Boy can continue his progress. There are also some interesting runners in the Pertems Qualifier, not least 2022 final winner Third Wind (first run since) and Gordon Elliott's Mel Monroe. Keep a close eye on the jockeys in the last couple of furlongs <whistle>

Surprised you’re not advocating for Nemean Lion in the Lanzarote Oddy. I was tempted as I do think there is scope in his current mark.

Agree on his mark Chan, just not sure he is screaming out for this trip?

Fair play to the commentator at Warwick for making a 2 horse race seem interesting

(14:15) Wetherby, a Class-2 Handicap Chase over 1m7f+ on soft/heavy-in-places ground, gives the Midnight Legend gelding, Gunsight Ridge, a winning chance despite an absence of 406-days. Goes well fresh and am confident his yard will have him fit. Usual tongue-strap applied. Gavin Sheehan rides for the Olly Murphy stable.

Measly 2/1 best price, in nearly all places, on Oddschecker! :(

Have a successful Saturday, folks, if you have a go! The Lanzarote at Kempton looks a bit of a lottery to me, but still a very intriguing race. :emoticon-0167-beer:

Excellent Ardent. Your heart rate may have increased a little the last 100 yards though

Super call Ardent. Did it reasonably well, tiring only very late on but had the job done. Good spot.
