After an absence of no less than 566 days Alan King has FRANKLINO 10-1 12.40 Warwick back on the racecourse and I can see his patience being rewarded. This horse had some decent novice form in the book and I think that the handicapper has let him in pretty lightly here. Its a big ask to overcome such an absence but these connections are more than capable of having him spot on. I fully expect if he is spot on for the yard to be shovelling money on him so if its not forthcoming I guess I shall have egg on my face.

I see that P.Nicholls only has 2 runners tomorrow. Can see a double on the cards.

    12.20 Kem. Vibrato Valtat
    13.50 War. Rocky Creek

Are you RV in disguise? <laugh> he's followed this one over a cliff since day 1. Nice easy 17-runner handicap on his return though <yikes>

His 2nd to Local Hero certainly reads well, but that was on good ground and he's never ran on true soft. Ze German-bred Engai might go close in this one ..................

I actually think he will go for the Neptune but I would much prefer not to see him taking on PUFFIN BILLY and I am pretty certain that he is Neptune bound!

Same problem as every year with the novice hurdlers .......................
    My view atm:

    Jezki for the Supreme
    Puffin Billy Neptune
    Ponte Alexandre Albert Bartlett

BUT I've heard some of Henderson's best novices haven't seen the track yet and several are burning up the gallops at Seven Barrows ................ Tistory is apparently looking the real deal

    Lingfield
    2.00 Speak the truth 5-1

This horse has an outstanding chance tomorrow as last week in a similar race won by another of today's rivals Desert strike, he had to run wide throughout and had no chance from the first bend. Tomorrow however he is drawn in 3 and as long as he breaks well and can sit just off the leaders I feel he will finish the race well and win.
