Could we see BZ sitting this one out, strange, "I dont think so," if as it has been stated several clubs are pondering over his services, they will be in attendance to run the rule over him. If his petulance, and continuing lack luster performance, manifests itself, his escape route could be curtailed,as the value we hope to recoup, so somehow I dont see him in this weekends line up. I see AJ back, hopefully Murphy, Stockdale, and Senderos & I dont think it will be a pretty game.
I imagine Stockdale for Etheridge, Senderos for hughes, Riise for Briggs, Etuhu for Gecov, Ruiz for Frei and AJ for Bobby will be the changes Jol makes. Line up a 4-2-3-1 with Ruiz dempsey and Dembele playing off AJ. Also if Murphy is fit again I imagine he'll come back for Baird, or possibly for Kelly with Baird reverting to right back. Regardless, it will be a very different team from wednesday I would have thought. Hopefully we'll see continued improvement from Ruiz and the Mousse, then another 20 mins from Frei to further his recent experiences. Who knows, maybe hes even played himself into starting contention?
Yeah, same for me, too. To me, this is the most interesting game of the season, for those curious about the inner workings of the team and Jol's command over it. I expect the team to come out and fight hard for Jol, but if there's still mutiny and finger-pointing going on in the ranks, wee might see another disinterested, lack-luster display.
I too think above line-up as RobespierreFFC, except think Jol might put Zamora and Johnson up front, might drop Dembele, so he can play against ManU. Been reported Dembele and Hangeland are one booking away from suspension, (so is Sidwell).
Bobby probably out with a knee injury (the L'pool game?). Davies out (back). Sidwell still out (taking a while for what was said to be 7-10 days). Murphy back. Logic says the team robes picked.
