Not bad enough he had a shocking first half....why on earth would Santos take RVP's jersey midway through a game.

The end of the game fine but unless you're trading jersey's I think it sends the wrong message

You can be friends before and after the game but until its over hes the opposition and treat him as such

    Pathetic!!!!

Surely Kos could do a decent job at left back?

Personally I was very pissed off when the teams were in the tunnel waiting to come out and all the arsenal players were hugging and smiling at RVP, I said to my brother (who was watching the game with me ) that arsenal were going to get whipped with that attitude. This guy is now your enemy, you should not be laughing and joking with him before the game, a courteous handshake is fine, but it just shows a losing mentality IMO, can't imagine adams, bergkamp, ect being so friendly with a player who left.

I was driving when i heard that the knobhead had exchanged shirts with Judas.

    I nearly crashed the car.

    WHAT a cunt .

No one should have even spoken to the traitor.

This is what i meant about passion (or lack of it )

Seems to me that they had wrote this game off before the starting whistle blew.

They should have gone there spitting feathers and fighting tooth and nail to win every ball .

All i saw was endless half arsed passing.

The only exceptions to this were Arteta , Santa . Wilshire.

For gods sake i despair i really do.

This guy is a clown. Just shows what a joker he is to have his mind on getting the sweat and spit cover shirt of mercenary footballers AT HALF TIME WHILST HIS TEAM IS LOSING AND PLAYING BADLY!!!!! That it was against our big rivals too was an insult. At least RvP gave token "respect" to the fans, though we all know this is a worthless gesture that has become a stock response of players.

I would have taken the clown Santos off for this. His mind was on other things, and he p,layed like it too.

When Piskie made his thread about us needing a right back and a CB and I said left-back is a much higher priority everyone jumped on me... Gibbs has improved, sure, but that side has been a liability for us for years. (keep in mind Vermaelen also defends that side, and he tends to move up way too often)

Gibbs is more than good enough to play LB, we just need cover for him.

Yes, it's a loser's mentality to be friendly. If we were winners, our players would have stabbed him in his f*cking eye and pissed on his children. Because that's what winners do.

Can you imagine a Gary Neville ever doing that? That's why our team crumbles like it does...there are way too many with this friendly loser mentality.

Vermalaen is an exception (though he played ****e)...in the past the likes RvP and Fabregas had a nastiness about them which is something others need to show as well (remember Fabregas clash with Phil Brown)...

I can't help but think that some of this comes from the top...anyone see the shot of Wenger and RvP hugging and smiling at each other at half time...can you imagine Fergie doing that? Wenger seems to take delight at the thought of having some role in making RvP who he is....just sends the wrong effing signals to the team.

    Wenger is soft .

Too soft to be a winner.

Imagine Bacon face Hugging Tevez , or C Ronaldo.

I imagine SAF would be quite cordial with Ronaldo, not at half time during a game, but before and after. Tevez on the other hand, not a chance in hell.

It was all too friendly with van Persie.
    Anyone remember Gary Neville?
The way van Persie ditched us was a lot worse than an past-it keeper who went on to earn some retirement money:

Too friendly? there's no one you prefer to beat at soemthing than a friend in my experience. I had toughter games against friends than any other competitors other than family, for the bragging tights. RVP is a world-class player and Sanntos was getting a momento, I can understand the hostility, people who pay good money to see their team who get paid eurolottery wages, and to see tham leave through 'mercenarism' evokes anger, but Santos is young and Naive, and RVP wants to win at the highest level before it's too late and it's obvious that the board or Wenger are too financially cautious to supply it, something most gooners arn't too happy about either, but at least they can wait 10 years for more success, RVP has 3 - 5 at most, give them a break.

That's the reason i asked if you were watching the game whilst driving your car <ok>
