I know this is the Liverpool thread, but this is my bread and butter with the people I commnicate with, so just letting everyone know that Santos has won the 2011 Copa Libertadores 2-1 over Penarol. The game was slightly marred by a bit of handbags, antics, and ninja kicks at the final whistle from Penarol. But all is well that ends well and Santos were victors! This is one my favorite "other" teams as I spent a week in Brazil for pre-season and was fortunate enough to tour the stadium and see such players as Robinho, Diego Ribas, Ricardinho, and Leo. I wish we had the Champions league and financial capacity to land Neymar and Ganso as they are simply awesome! I just hope they don't go to Chelsea and find their way to Italy and Spain, respectively =).
There were a few punches thrown, the main thing about it was how long it went on for. Here's a video of it.

That was a mental fight! To be fair, I would want to celebrate winning the Copa Libertadores not starting a fight with the other team...
I think penarol initiated the fight. RVF, my style and what I like, I really rate Ganso. A lot of brazilians compare him to Rivaldo but I don't think that is really close as Rivaldo was more of a forward, Ganso is more of the playmaker, more of a Kaka that will chip in with goals. Got to admit Neymar is exceptional though, but in terms of what I like, ganso is it for me. Saintanton, haha that is pretty funny, basically it is Santos Champions. Santos were really making me nervous at the end, blew some real easy chances to put the game to bed 3-0. 3-1,4-1 could have been a very realistic final score.
