Looks like he may be back soon as he is doing triple training sessions.
Always liked the lad and with Dummey now a CB he should give Haidara some canny competition.

Would be good to see him back. And competition for places is always handy.

Good to hear young players with bigger future than here.

Good news, although with obertan and aarons out, I'd like to see him play on the wing rather than at full back.

I have always liked him. He plays for the shirt. I don't think that he has quite worked out what is his position and sort of gets a bit lost in no mans land (not all his fault I have to say) but he definitely loves playing for this club justvwould like him to take a look at Janmaat now and learn a bit from him. I think he has the best chance to be a class full back over all out other LB options.

Agree. He's far more effective going forwards than in defence. Could be useful with others being injured.

Do you think Jonas will ever get to play for the first team again? To be fair, I thought his legs were going quite a while back - and who knows how much this treatment has put him back - but it would be fantastic to see him on the pitch again. Imagine the reception he'd get. Especially at SJP. And especially if he gets the Spidey mask out.

Jonas legs were going/gone imo. He constantly failed to beat his man and rarely, if ever got a cross in effectively. He had alot of heart though and I couldn't fault his effort so who knows what he will be like if he does return to first team football. If he can defeat such a horrific illness who knows what can happen.

He could play in the cups or be used as a utility player. Maradona thought we was a fullback and he's played CDM for us before.
I'd like to see him used a few times at least.. so that we can at least bid him a fond farewell.

But isn't using him in the cup final at Wembley a bit risky after all this time out?

Good to see him back. Dummett will take some shifting though. Comfortably first choice left back. If Saylor isn't fit though, that will free up a slot as Haidara just does ok.
