Just how good was he last night?

Hate to say it but the midfield needs to be built around him and not Bruno of those performances keep coming.

He reminds me of a cross between Gattusso and Pirlo when he passes.

He runs the Italian midfield these days and I can see why.

Imagine how our team will set up with a top class RW and a top tier CF to give Alex competition.

I agree. Bruno looks sluggish and loses the ball in dangerous areas sometimes.

He did however make the assist for Isaks opener.

The question remains can they be paired together. Apparently we have only won 2 games out of 13 when they have started together.

Tonali was outstanding. Bruno was great.

I think Tonali was a bit lazy for their 1st, but both imo were outstanding. the day you see longstaff play anywhere near as good the cows will come home.

It's good having two top midfielders.. there was never an issue with them two and Joelinton.

Cb then a rw is what's required.

If anything was an issue it was the sloppy passes from hall Joelinton and Murphy, but at the end of the day they will always misplace a few passes when trying to break the lines and Liverpool had to take advantage.

Thought we looked a lot more dynamic with Bruno a little further forward and Tonali holding, clearly that is the best cm partnership going forwards with Joelinton/Willock next to them...

AG must play LW he CAN play RW but he should stay on the left - so much more dangerous from there.

Tonali and Bruno can and will work together - I'd question how many of those 13 games they've been used with Tonali as the holding "6" and Bruno as a more versatile "8" type which clearly works! Also the 2 we won we battered PSG and Villa scoring 9 goals in the process.

What would be interesting is if it would work as a double pivot in midfield and release the other CM into AM/SS role to support Isak

The Sandro/Bruno/Joelinton partnership looks great when he hammered Villa at the start of last season, but has looked like it doesn't work ever since, but yesterday was the first sign that it can work again; they were killing Liverpool in the first half and we should've scored more.

Sandro is total football porn when he's on form. He's getting the consistency back now, I remember him being ****e when we lost to Chelsea, but that's looking like a one off now.

It's genius, Split Isak across the front 3 and we are winning the lot:

    Alex - Ander - Isak

And split Murphy into 3 as well.

Because it's easier to dispose of the body that way.

And this is why internet forum's are gay, the endless hilarity people can have with typos.

    Edited to make sense, anyway.

Just take it with a pinch of salt. We have all made the same typos.

    Just see the funny side.
