Our midfield powerhouse has told reporters in Brazil that he's stepped up a level in his comeback and he's started to run again.
He's still a long way from being back in contention and he's taking it all at a sensible pace, but it sounds like we might have him back for the start of our next campaign.
We've missed him badly and I hope that he doesn't rush it and returns at full strength.

I wish him the best, and wish he were here.

Without doubt he would be contesting the player of the year if he hadn't been injured.
Where does he live in Brazil.......?

I just hope he comes back the same as before, many players have suffered bad knee injuries and returned to never be quite the same. Fingers crossed.

    Great news.
Sometimes we're a little critical over Dembele and Parker, but you've got to give them both credit this season. They've both played nearly every game as we don't have many other options and managed to become a decent partnership. Losing a player of Sandro's quality would be tough on any team, but i think they deserve some praise for taking care of that gaping hole Sandro left.

Agreed Roo, I think Parker and Dembele have been great, almost impossible to replace what Sandro brought to the team at the start of the season but they've done well.
Obviously Sandro and Dembele are the future but Scotty has done a good job

He's back with his old club Internacional in Porto Alegre, tapping up Damiao, who'll still join someone else.
