RELATED ARTICLES ‘He’s a top striker’ QPR and Swansea target finds form as Fulham suffer away day blues at Blackburn ‘Most frustrated player in the country’ set to unleash fury on Arsenal after rejecting QPR move The summer signing from Spurs has failed to make much of an impact at Loftus Road but could be thrown straight into the side to face Southampton next weekend. The R’s then face Sunderland and Hull before two London derbies with Tottenham and Arsenal to come. “I feel very good at QPR, and I will feel even better soon when I am able to help the team,” Sandro told the club’s official site. “I really can’t wait to be involved on the pitch again. I have been having treatment every day, twice a day, with the physios but now the difficult moments are in the past because I am starting to build my fitness. “This week I will be training outside with the rest of the group. This will be very nice for me, it makes me feel happy. “I will be taking part in full training, and then we will see how I feel.” With Jordon Mutch departed for Crystal Palace, Sandro could come straight into the side next Saturday although Harry Redknapp is keen to be busy in the final hours of the transfer window.
Wow, I forget about these players we sign and they get injured for weeks after just one or two games. I really do hope he can get fit quick (quick fit...sorry) and stay fit as this I hope will give us a massive boost. A fit and motivated Sandra could be what keeps us up..
He might be what we need to actually start a game well. I just hope his replacement can do the same for the other 80 minutes.
Do you think that Wenger might listen to offers for Diaby? Now that would be a mouth watering prospect for any physio - Sandro & Diaby shoring up our midfield.
I wasn't his biggest fan when he joined but for some reason I've got a good feeling about him coming back. I somehow think he'll be more focussed and hungry for being out a while.
He is a good player but he hasn't managed to stay fit eithe for Spurs or us. Can't build anything around him.
