The Brazilian has been out of action since November 22 after suffering medial ligament in his knee, but says that he is slowly but surely closing in on a comeback. He told QPR's website: "I am now feeling much better. I have started to do some running and fitness work, and I hope I can return to full training in a couple of weeks. "I am doing a lot of gym work because I lost a lot of power in my leg. I could not do any work with it, now I feel better. "I have started to do running outside and, in the next couple of weeks, I will be working hard to build on this and then return to full training with my team-mates." The 25-year-old joined Rangers from Tottenham Hotspur in September.
Mmmm... I love waiting around for players to come back from injury and hearing them promise that they'll make an impact upon return.
