    From a poster on CL.

Thomas’ son Martin told me that they’ve spent over 100k on a machine that monitors muscle injuries, mainly hamstrings - apparently we were judging muscle injuries by the naked eye before. I’m paraphrasing of course but that’s the gist of it.

We’re also looking to buy a striker in January, strongly hinted its Ronnie Schwartz.

I’m hoping that Sandgaard starts to feel like he’s getting some sort of payback for his good intentions soon.

Not just promotion, but he will feel goodwill when the fans are allowed back in. The size & passion of our fanbase will impress him. Not many take nearly 4000 up to Doncaster for an early kick off on a Sunday.

Personally I can’t wait to get travelling again, along with compadres @Clb74 and @Miketyson2007Junior Having no Charlton this last six months has felt like losing the family dog.

Can’t wait for the first home match when we can all attend , bar one boycotter, and show him our appreciation - maybe he could adopt the tunnel jump ?

Elfs has got to get over the fact that the scummy Belgian twat is just a landlord now and plenty of other clubs are in the same position as us .

    I can't agree.

Thomas Sandgaard riding to our rescue has made us confident as well as grateful. But it should not make us complacent in my opinion.
Even Sandgaard could not undo what Duchatelet did - deprive our Club of ownership of its home for almost all of the last 100 years.

To me, Roland being 'just' the Landlord is no trivial matter.
The majority of fans can ignore it for now if they wish. But if anything goes wrong with Thomas Sandgaard's ownership of CAFC over the next 15 years we might come to bitterly regret what Elfs is being expected to get over.

Sandgaard has put £12m of his own money into the club, and we should reciprocate. If he hadn't we might not even exist.

Totally disagree. Sandgaard has said that he is looking to buy the Valley next year. He has carte Blanche to cosmetically change the Valley and training ground. Sandgaard is in for the long haul and I think in the long run he will buy both the training ground and the Valley. Boycotting watching Charlton because Sandgaard is not the owner of the Valley or SL is not a good enough reason. The money spent on Charlton is going to Sandgaard, so you are basically boycotting against Sandgaard.

He has said he will lose 20M this season. That is a huge commitment to Charlton. I have done my bit by rejoining Valley Gold, buying merchandise, watching the live streams. We should be showing our commitment to Sandgaard by supporting him and the Club through these difficult times.
When we are allowed back in the Stadiums we should all get along there, Home and away.

I'm not saying fans should boycott home matches.
That's an individual choice, and I can understand the vast majority of Charlton fans want to get right behind the team at the Valley and show TS how much they appreciate his actions by buying season tickets.

I'm just saying we perhaps should not regard Duchatelet being Landlord as something that just doesn't matter.
If Thomas Sandgaard buys the Valley next year that will be fantastic news. I imagine Elfs would happily end his boycott (though I cannot speak for him).
I look forward to the day CAFC is reunited with the Valley. The sooner the better.

Without wishing to turn this into yet another Elfs thread, someone had a big cash windfall yesterday <whistle>. This possibly explains why the forum equivalent of diohrrea hasn’t posted yet today ....although he does work on Fridays and his boss doesn’t allow him to get his phone out :emoticon-0136-giggl
