Beat you to it bitch. ASM----------Wood------------Fraser -----Bruno-Shelvey-Willock--------- Targett---Burn-----Schar------Manquillo ------------------Dubz------------------ We can do it bitch. Cmon!!!!!!!!! PLEASE ****ING DROP MURPHY!!!!!
Murphy out, even - dare I say - for Ritchie if ASM isn't ready. Would rest Shelvey, bring Joe back in, keep Bruno then swap Bruno/Shelvey throughout the match. Again, unless Joe's not fit. To think, we're somehow winning without Trippier, Wilson, Joelinton and Saint Maximin.
Good shout. Wonder if they're anywhere near me, there's an FA facility at Stoneham near Eastleigh. Someone find out for me.
Last few matchday threads I've posted about how big a game it was and how important it was to get something from it. Well this one isn't! It's a free hit. Even with our great run that we're on, it's a game most neutrals would predict us to lose and a defeat should not burst the bubble of how much we have improved. All that said, if we could avoid defeat, or even grab a win, then it will really make the rest of the league sit up and take notice. I've noticed that in quite a few other prediction leagues that the vast majority of people still expect us to lose most games. It would be incredible if we could come away from Stamford Bridge with the momentum still going and our unbeaten run still going strong!
Worth noting that if (and it's a big if) we keep the run going and beat Chelsea, there's a good chance of us being 11th on Monday... Table: Fixtures of those above: Brighton vs Liverpool Arsenal vs Leicester Palace vs Man City
Both teams go into this game on a decent run. We're unbeaten in 9 and Chelsea unbeaten in 5 We've won 3 in a row, they've won 4 in a row. Still can't work out if this is a great time to be playing Chelsea or a terrible time. Loads of distractions for them at the minute, but last night it looked like it had galvanised them.
Yeah, but I'm not sure the full impact had got through to them. By the time we play them, they'll have spent a lot more time looking at the detail, the potential lack of funds, etc. May make no difference, they may - and probably will - adopt a siege mentality. But it could go the other way.
They'll probably call this, "The Match of Evil"!! Bring it on. My enemies enemy enemies enemy is/are my friend/friends. 2-1 the Toon
Well Tuchel said the players were talking about their futures in the dressing room last night... I don't think its either to be honest. They are great form after that blip, but they do have the distractions. Hopefully that is amplified at home. I don't expect anything from the game, they have much better players than us. They have a top coach and they're in great nick. But as you say its a free swing and our confidence could not be higher. Just have a go is all I would ask. Don't do a Rafa or Bruce and write the game off as backs to the wall job. We must carry a threat and use what we've been good at lately.
Chelsea's soon to be out of contract players will be aiming to impress Eddie and our owners ready for the summer, so I expect them to be up for this one.
