Apparently were getting him A couple questions about him as he was on loan with you last season Is he a winger or a striker ? And is he any good ???
Great feet unbelievable Skill, Gets Stuck in could be a bargain at the reported 250k Can Win games see us v Millwall last year at elland road! Just needs to keep injury free and didnt have much chance with us as he is not better than Gradel or Snoddy
What does this mean for Nunez or more nb for resigning Gradel???? I reckon it means that Gradel is gone for a small fee come January we will end up taking about a million for him, bad business AGAIN!!!!!
It means that if we sign another winger it appears pretty obvious it is only being done so that Gradel can be sold in January!!!!!
We arent signing another iwnger, he might be going to Reading? Watt is relatively lightweight, VERY injury prone, and generally flatters to deceive in a big way. I dont think he will go anywhere near replacing Long, he is an attacking midfielder not a striker, and Kebe is ten times the player Watt is.
Phil I dont think your giving him the credit he deserves I think hes a hardworking skillfull player who didnt get enough chance to shine at Leeds, Kebe is only good cos hes soo quick like walcott not the best footballer but looks good cos his speed takes away the need to have a good touch
Mugsey im not talking to you on that post, have a read through n think about whats going on on this thread! A reading fan has posted asking our opinion on Watt because READING (not Leeds) are going to sign him! I was explaining to the READING fan that YOU thought LEEDS where signing Watt
Kissa, we`ll have to agree to disagree mate. When Kebe came on against us down at Reading he destroyed us on the right, god knows how it ended 0-0 and I`m sure every Reading fan will say he was a big miss on their run in last season. Just about everytime I`ve seen Watt he had done fek all and been ineffectual. I`ll give you he has had about 3 good games for us, but the rest of the time he was injured or looked like getting sent off cos he was narked he wasnt up to it and starts missing tackles by about 5 hrs. Just not one for me mate, and def not worth 250k as, after all, he has actually done **** all so far in his career to warrant any money.
Maybe so mate maybe Im wanting n willing him to be better than he is, atleast he came here on loan and put effort in unlike some other waste of space ****s *cough* Mchsheffery*cough*
amongst others! he looked to have a right game for Cov against Brum at the weekend, must have been 'playing against old club' syndrome
Had two seasons on loan with us and I am glad he isn't here for a 3rd because we don't need him. Winger all the way, if Leeds hadn't got the players we already have out wide then I wouldn't mind him. I found him too up and down, maybe lack of chances, reminds me of a player that will stand out on a sunny day but on wet winters evening don't expect too much. Would also have to agree with previous comments, not worth £250k not when you look at the talent that has been going here there and everywhere (but Leeds) on a free.
Sanchez Watt is quality. He's a bargain at £250k and would do well if you get him on loan instead. He found chances hard to get at Leeds, but only because our wingers are so good and he did have injury problems. When Gradel and Snodgrass were injured at the start of last season, he did really well but then got injured, which happened a lot. He's good on the ball, good skill, hardworking but sometimes makes the wrong decision in passes and shots. He's only 20 though, and will improve if he can improve his fitness and get an extended run in the team.
Not much of a striker since his shooting's rather poor, but he's an excellent creative player with good strength, pace and passing. Can be played on the wing or behind the striker. Very good attacking utility man/supersub for this level, although I doubt whether he'd force his way into Reading's permanent XI and become a key player for the whole season. He needs to improve his consistency if he's going to do that. Can't go wrong for 250k, mind; I'm sure we'd have been after him if we didn't already have an excess of wingers/attacking midfielders on our books.
