Looks like Sanchez picked up an injury while on international duty and will be out for 6 weeks. Meanwhile in more happier news... Hector Bellerin, 21, has signed a six-year deal worth over £100,000 a week, making the Spanish full-back one of Arsenal's top earners.(Daily Mirror) Bad news that Sanchez is out as he's in sparkling form. We need either Iwobi and Oxo to really up their game. Not surprised about Bellerin being offered a bumper contract. He is one of the best talents in Europe and on the cusp of being World Class. He'll be one of the best full backs in the near future. This time we haven't made another Colesque mistake!
A 'low grade muscle injury' doesn't sound like 6 weeks out to me. If it's a small tear (which is basically what a muscle injury is) then it could just be 2 weeks.
According to Sanchez, he'll be back on Tuesday http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/arsenal-hopeful-alexis-sanchez-return-9229086
Sanchez will either be sent home, or he'll be fit for the game against Uruguay on Tuesday. 6 weeks is a gross exaggeration.
The dreaded November conspires, when is cazorla back...perez is out too meaning we are left with giroud minus sanchez..this is just fantastic. We might as well play ramsey xhaka if we have no cazorla along with giroud theo ozil and ox and iwobi sharing a half each, that would be out best bet against united. Some conflicting reports. Hope it's not anything too bad. But also hope that Sanchez isn't downplaying his injury being a fighter. We will find out soon.
Well, its not a very good source, hardly the bbc or ornstein...byt the way did bellerin sign for a 6 year extension or 6 more years after the end of this season as in he inproved his contract and got a 3 year extension, because fabregas at one point was contracted to us for 8 years...either way its fantastic,6 more years at the least of him is excellent though he will be only what 26 buy then? The Bellerin deal is fantastic news. Best RB in the league and at 21 he's got the potential to be the best in the World in his position.
Glad we are being a big club, signing up players on long term deals securing our investment in them and sending out public statements so there is pressure on chile to not play alexis.
Look either way we are set if its a six year extension,he will be with us for 9 years till 29 years of age or if its a new contract which would come into play from next season he would be here till 27...either we can sleep in peace now atleast over him...if we get ozil to commit who is looking very likely with around some 200k to 250k wages, sanchez would be easier to sign as well.
Unlikely that he will stay that long in this day and age but what it does do is put Arsenal in a very strong position to say no or negotiate a huge fee.
Misread and thought you were saying that Sanchez was out for 6 years I'm sure that I read that he might play against Uruguay on Tuesday so he should be OK
That is the problem,he has a muscle strain which took him out of a qualifier, theybare planning to force him to play and we will be dealing with a tear than a strain, its essential he doesnt play against uruguay and we get a rare instance of 10 day rested Alexis Sanchez.
