If we wanna replace Sammy, it has to be Pacur best side over the last 20 yrs coincided with Paco being at the club,as soon as he left Rafa was never quite as good .Knows players well, knows Spanish market well(Spain has highest quality players in the world).United were rumoured to want him. IMO its a no- brainer
It's a shame he and Rafa fell out because they were a good team (however I believe Paco did something that was against Liverpool, can't remember what it was though).
As far as I know he had a chat with Jose Mourinho and Rafa got annoyed, due to the fact that Rafa can't stand Mourinho.Apart from Ferguson,He's someone Rafa doesn't like.
Rumour says we're getting Paul Clement, who worked with Steve Clarke before and was released by Villas Boas.
Ya, in epic swindle, doesn't Rafa say he was "betrayed" by Paco? Shame they were good cop bad cop in terms of how they approached players, tactics, etc. Isn't Gary mac in the running too? I say we get in Hyypia or Hamman!
Rumours are saying that both Paul Clement (Released by Villas-Boas at Chelsea) and Gary McAllister (Former Liverpool midfielder and was released by Alex McLeish at Villa) are both the front-runners. I know people have already mentioned these names but I thought i'd put a link in. Link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2009419/Sammy-Lee-shown-door-Liverpool.html
Gary Mac,A Scottish trio. The King,Clarkey are both Scots, maybe they want a 3rd one and Gary Mac is Scottish.
Gah!! don't be putting links to the Mail in, don't you know the Mail is now added to the S*n boycott?

Jamie Redknapp. He's so bad,His old man won't hire him.Wish he did...It would get him off Super Sunday.Which won't be worth watching...when Ratface is co-commentator.
