    Twitter saying Sammy picked up an injury that will keep him out for a couple of months. Anyone know more?

    edit: Just seen the reserves thread <doh>

    anyone know what he's done?

    Disappointing if true, but at least this will knock Fergie up the selection ladder. Would love to see him get a handful of games in the second half of this season!

    To be honest, if we listed players who we could afford to lose to injury, Sammy would be pretty near the top.

    Shame for him, but he's not really ready for first team football yet in the PL. Send him on loan when he's fit.

    Yeah it's a shame for the lad. But ultimately I would have been more worried if Vuckic or Abeid got injured. I see them breaking into the first team over the next 12 months.

    Never nice to see a player injured but I do not rate Sammy that highly. He seems far to raw for me and could do with sending out on loan. Seems too similar to his older brother <yikes>

    Poor Sammy, as some people have said though one of the other youngsters will hopefully get a chance to step up and show what they're made of. Would love to see Shane Ferguson get some more games under his belt (but not at left back).
