Kilmarnock have signed Sammy Clingan. I know he jumped ship when we went down to Div1,but he was a good player and seems to have wasted his talent.
Wasted his career. Serves him right in a way. Too many players ship out when a club faces a tough time and a couple of seasons later the tables are turned. We had a number of them and all of them are financially and career challenged.
How he didn't get the POY I'll never know, he was the only one who played well that year, even Hoolahan was out of sorts. I thought he was a fantastic player with how he read things.
