At the moment IMO we have a really good coaching set up and have a good strong squad (when everyone is fit). Just two questions for everyone. Next season would you add to the coaching team or keep it the same (maybe add Tilson to it)? Would you keep the same squad of players (bare in mind that some haven't had a chance to prove themselves to JW yet, yes even Virgo deserves a chance) or would you get rid of a few and add some newer additions?
Get that **** Virgo out of the squad now, he is ****. Also would probably get rid of a couple others and bring in some new players. JJOT MUST STAY! Get Harrold up front with Brunt and a couple of solid back up players and we will be ok
Virgo mines a pint of what your drinking seamange. Have you seen him play over the last two seasons injuries apart I wish him well but not at Rovers. COR
Depends obviously if JW stays which I think he will. I have nothing against Shaun North, he has been loyal since he arrived with Buckle, but i think JW will consider releasing North. My opinion is that JW will stay and eventually move to a DoF role at the club like what Lennie did with Trolls. JW admitted he was giving management up and only interested in the DoF role which is why he was going to Plymouth. But where we requested his services and he does love the club and has unfinished business with us, we will be I think his last managerial job and will move to the DoF role. Meaning North would need to go so JW can bring in a new assistant to train up and will eventually replace JW as manager while JW goes to DoF - same as Trolls and Lennie. I also believe JW will select a former Rovers player for this role, someone like him who knows the club, loves the club and understands the passion of the fans. I think Tilson will be the choice. Imagine in our 1st season at UWE, JW being the DoF and Tilson being manager and Stewart being Tilson number 2 and head coach. Sounds good to me.
Been thinking about the Tillson scenario. At first I was all for him coming back; but now I'm wondering. Undeniably popular, charismatic and has a brain. But are we bigging up his role at Exeter? I understand he's part-time...and I don't think he was on the bench the other week. If Ward 'moves upstairs' I reckon Stewart is ahead in the pecking order, and Alan Walsh is doing a great job with the U18s. Could get a bit crowded...and it all costs!
im not saying tilson to be manager yet lol, at least 2 years down the line, a training period. even the other way round, stewart being trained and tilson being his number 2. the defence side of things in training will be sorted by tilson and the attack side of training be sorted by stewart! sounds good.
