very lucky with the Saturday results Only 1 of the teams, Stoke, and that [ now on goals /difference ] who could have dropped us down a few positions cashed in although they wave squeezed up! There are again 4 teams [+ Rotherham who could be equal but need some wacky scorelines ] to go above us! PNE, who I stated pre City game had COMPLETED a rather difficult 10 games start of the season and were one to look out for and climb the table, replace Stoke so …… THEY ARE ALL HOME …… CITY on 22 points v IPSWICH BRENTFORD ..... v Sheff utd … out of sorts last 6 games W 1 D 3 L 2 could = a point or 0 or 3 = Brntfrd 22pts + GD PNE …… v Middsbro on the up is PNE, lost top scorer ( 10 ) so doubtful more than a point = 22 pts similar GD @ -1 WIGAN …… v BBurn a local derby could go either wayand point each could be on the cards = Wigan 22pts worse GD or 24 pts SHEFF wed … v Bolton, now in bottom 3 are only 3 pts adrift of Sheff, neither side will want to lose = Sheff W = 22 pts very bad GD ROTHERHAM unlikely to affect a position if they win SO LIKELY WORST SCENARIO COULD BE 18TH C O Y R
I think we should stick with him until Christmas and if we are in the bottom 3 at that point then he should be replaced. Those who want him gone now - who do you think (not WANT) would replace him? Another unknown, that’s who. So, he is only worth replacing when a punt on another random unknown is worth it - basically when we have nothing to lose.
Brentford lost ..just! PNE continue their good form … draw Sheff wed win so displace us along with PNE City 16th Wigan can rub salt in wound Weds...……..
