Why everytime we are promised new signings, our best player have to be sacrificed? We need to build on the squad therefor we should be doing what we can to keep our best players ie Enrique and Barton. Fair enough Carroll as that was money we could not refuse. We should be adding better players to play with the good ones. It just goes round in circles. If we kept these players we would only need 3 or 4 additions. 2 strikers 1 defender and 1 midfielder but if reports are true and we do lose these players It just means we have to buy more players. Therefore will cost more in the long run rather than giving joey a little bit more money, at least he shown he can do a job and enjoys playing for Newcastle.
