We rely too much on Adel i'm afraid we need to take the work load off him a bit and the player to do it is out on loan,so time to give Granero the job.Samba looks solid although not 100% fit.We simply can't play Mackie up on his own we need to go 4-4-2 as it proved when Zamora came on.

The job of the target man is to hold it up when attacking and asking Mackie to do it is not the answer.Mackie is a head down run at them type of player and today proved that lone striker is not his role.Townsend looks a great signing and has a good brain on him too,and yet again Cesar pulls off saves not many can do.

Swansea away next and i bet we go the same formation as we did today unless Remy is fit.Next home game is united and there is another one where we will go out not to get beat, and there lies the problem were running out of games for that attitude.

Would rather go all out at home then more defensive away or am i asking too much? When we went down in 1996 we were scoring goals but this season 8 at home all season sums up the way we're playing.

Maybe if we go 4-4-2 with Remy and Zamora up front the goals will come but that will only happen if the formation is changed. They are all professional footballers so don't give the "hard to adjust" bollocks because it simply doesn't wash with me.

Midfield should be Mackie wide right and Townsend wide left with Adel and Granero in the middle with Adel drifting just behind Remy and Zamora. The defense looks much better which is encouraging but the problem now lies up front and if we continue with one up top we will go down in my view.

Agree we need to go for it but that midfield might just a bit too attacking. Think Jenas might be a very astute signing and could see him alongside granero or M'Bia in a midfield with taraabt just ahead. Effectively 3 up front with Zamora, remy & Townsend. Townsend and remy to play slightly wider but free to roam across the front line. Essentially 4-3-3 which becomes 4-5-1 when we don't have the ball

I have to agree about the formation. Harry says Bobby isn't fit enough to play a whole game so in that case why don't we play Betty up front. He will be a handful, cause problems and get soem knockdowns. May even score the odd one as well!

Yep sounds good to me but my one concern is the amount of bookings M'bia gets.

    It's v simple

With Remy out there's no one capable of putting the ball into the net

    V disappointed he's injured

If we played that midfield we would get completely over-run.
It did improve when Zamora came on and although I'm not a fan of 4-4-2, I think we simply have to go for it now!

Granero can tackle as M'bia can but the big difference is that Granero doesn't get booked every game.

Granero is incredibly lightweight imo and gets caught in possession time and time again. He'd look good in a better side with more time on the ball imo. Big time charlie who doesn't look up for the fight imo.
