lack of goals when we are dominating is costing us points (as well as the ref of course)what do we reckon is the answer ?
Splash some cash, a striker that scores goals is going to cost. Where that cash is coming from we will never know.
i personally like the burton striker he has scored some quality goals lately,dont know his name and not being racist he is the big coloured bloke up front,he seems to have all the attributes we need.
hmm yeah we do need a big strong striker that causes problems but should we be looking at a league one and above players in order to improve?
I think we still dont need to panic. The season is now well underway but im not going to worry just yet - by all accounts we played very well and were unlucky not to get anything on Saturday. If we go, say another 2 or 3 games without scoring or getting any points then Waddock may need to look at strenghtening!
If you read the Brentford Fans comments on websites, the comments are mainly "thank f*ck Wycombe have the likes of Strevens up front". In other words we are totally ineffective. Our best chances were pretty much from 25yds. Donnelly, although a good player, wasted so many set piece deliveries it was embarrassing. Praise for Marv, and Beaver for their tenacity and also Grant had flashes of quality. Oh for a 20+ goal a season striker again!
We got the wrong Swindon striker the one who went to Chesterfield at least shows some passion taking on the mad Di Canio
I would still like to see Rendell and Beynon given a run together. I am convinced (not sure how) that Ruth is our man. I just can't see him dropping Bevon.
