Because all my life it has been my team. When I came here to Portugal seven years ago, I thought I could give it up but I feel more intense about my club now than at any time in my life and spend alot of money going back three or four times a year to watch them. I really don't know how we have got ourselves into this mess with the most generous chairman/benefactor that we've ever had. We have cleared out lots of the dross players but still seem to have enough left to allow sides to walk through our midfield and back four at will. I know what is going to happen as I've seen it all before six times. I had hoped to live the rest of my life without a seventh!
Totally agree - I miss them even more being overseas! Especially when you're 10 time zones away The problem is championship teams are getting better but we ain't - despite us being able to score 4 million goals in a handful of games!
Well I dont feel even a tiny bit sorry for you! Try being a gashead! We have one good season and then 9 poor ones over 10 years
Have just been sorting out the fishing shed. Found a large piece of net.........shall I stretch it out under the trap door just in case? We realy are soooo predictable arn't we. Our games/form is like some sort of dance.........crap, crap, average, average, crap. Another season of survival for us now me thinks...........still, on a bright note, we are only 10 points of a play off spot!
