I've just been talking to a group of Blackburn fans, and i asked them about Samba and how much they thought he was worth. They said "you might aswell play him as a striker because he's lethal in the oppositions box, but he cannot defend for **** since he was linked to a move away"... That's a little bit of a let down for me, i thought he was awesome but these lads have Blackburn season tickets so i guess i can't really argue. They said that they think "the bloke with the blonde curly hair", Coloccini, is about 5x better than him in the defensive aspect of things. Thoughts?
They've seen more of him than me but whenever i've seen him anything in the box is duly dealt with by him. I think alot of fans are harsh on their own players weaknesses anyway and often exaggerate their flaws. We do it with alot of our current squad.
I dont think we're even after him, let alone would we get him if Blackburn sell. It's a story made up by us on not606, and we have never been linked with Samba as far as I know.
Exactly.. it's the same thing with us being after Vargas. I just can't see it happening as much as I'll love it to happen.
We've made up the Demba Ba fantasy too havent we? Havent read us actually linked to him. They said he has been **** since handing in his transfer request, his heart probably isnt in it anymore and would return to being quality once he leaves Blackburn

I'm sure we've been linked with Juan Albin, Jelle Vossen and Andreas Ottl... I actually contacted the sports desk at the Mail to state that NUFC were hoping to complete a swap deal with Messi coming to SJP and Ameobi going the other way. They never did get back to me.
