Missed the first half, watching now - what happened to Cisse?

Diakite is going to be our best player this season!

He looks great but bear in mind the opposition. Please don't build him up to then knock him down and slaughter him. I have seen everyone do this to players on these message boards way too often. He is played only a handful of Prem games and will be playing with a new midfield this season. Potential is still the buzzword for Samba....

Cisse went off after 15 mins holding the back of his thigh!Praying it isn't something that will keep him out for too long.

He really was a must sign wasn't he. I'm surprised we didn't have more competition.

I am inclined to agree but think he prob needs a good run till Christmas/New Year when all going well he will be firmly established as a great Premeirship centre mid.

Thing is is that he's the kind of player you hate coming up against when you playing football. Big long gangly legs that seem to tackle you or stop your run even if you manage to get a 5 foot head start, elbows and arms flapping everywhere. Trying to get the ball off him must be a nightmare! Ggod feet too!!

Keep him fit, get him partnered with Faurlin and now we're talking!!

Plus a few more exclamtion marks for exageration purposes ! !!! ! !!

    !! !

Tackles well, comfortable on the ball, good engine and seems quick. I think he could become one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, although of course he has work to do. I was surprised we didn't have more competition when we signed him permanently.

I think we will see what quality Faurlin really is with Diakite alongside
Wilkins still looked quality for us some years ago because he had the excellent Holloway winning the ball for him, I can see an even better partnership with these two
