What is up with this guy?

Shows no indication of any injury during games then all the time in training he picks up a bloody injury that seems him miss 3-4 games.
Are they pushing him to hard in training?
Is the physio doing his job right?

Just so weird that we cant seem to get a string of games out of him.

Davies seems to be getting fitter and fitter now and starting a lot more so if we could just get Baldock 100% fit as well we will have one of the deadliest strike forces in the league, Not many teams have 2 strikers in the top goal scorers and especially with both of them not starting every game its a good achievement, If they did start all the time we would of seen a lot more goals from the pair. Imagine that, both of them starting all 46 NPC games :)

Davies has always been injury prone I think. Like Glenn said could be a reason why they sold him.

Derby fans didn't want Davies to go, but they knew he couldn't play all the time due to his fitness. Some players you have to wrap in cotton wool during training to protect them for games.
Baldock was on long term injury last season so this could be the reason we didnt play him too much.
Didn't Del comment on their fitness during that meeting with the fans? Perhaps that's why he kept rotating them to get the best out of them as neither seemed to complain about it.

Don't ask me why but I had some suspicions about Baldock when we were trying to sign him. There was a lot of dithering from both parties which made me wonder if he was a wise move.

He clearly has the goal scoring potential that we need but there appears to be some background issues, possibly about his fitness, and yet again we have a player on staff that can't play for some unknown reason.

There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to sign a player that is considered to have potential injury problems when you are desperately trying to stave off relegation. It is almost starting to look like we have 2, on the surface, players that may not play the part for which we signed them. We need to get ALL players fit to help us in our quest for survival otherwise we are doomed.

Remember mike we have one of the best strike forces in the league, Hence why we are one of the top goal scorers. Only trouble is we have the worst defence in England. We signed the right players up front to more than keep us in the league but to help get promotion. If we hadn't of conceded so many goals we would be right up there, Especially the home goals. Infact ill have a little look at where we could of been!

    Due to bad defence

    Blackburn 3 points dropped (h)
    Leeds 3 points dropped (h)
    Millwall 3 points dropped (h)
    Bolton 3 points dropped (a)
    Burnley 3 points dropped (h)
    Hull 1 point dropped (h)

that's 16 points gone due to bad defending, Add that too our points now and we would be 3 points off the play offs!

If Gazza hadnt gotten injured against Forest, we could have won in Sweden '92, AND gone to The USA in '94 as European Champions

    IF....

    2 letters damn big word
IF S O'D had GJ's way with the media he'd be managing in the premiership given his record.

When S O'D arrived he commented that Davies and Baldock needed to get their fitness levels higher, Davies apparently has been getting fitter, something he said himself, not sure what Baldocks problem is was also worried when Cunningham was out on saturday hope thats not going to be another recurring problem.
Regarding getting in players in the loan window we can only get those players who want to come like the Man City player we apparently asked about he went to Blackburn.
