Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou claims Chelsea blew their chances of winning the title by sulking. The Ivory Coast international says too many of the Blues' squad got the hump if they were not picked in Carlo Ancelotti's starting line-up. The 25-year-old said: "Our players were preoccupied with finding out who was in the side and who wasn't. This disrupted our progress. "It is better to build a team gradually than to bring in players who will pout and sulk." Kalou claims that incoming Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink will not need to spend big to bring the Premier League title back to Stamford Bridge and that there is enough quality within the squad to win the league next season. Kalou added: "Our team is used to winning and when we end up losing, things become hard for us. "Yes, we won nothing this year but successive seasons do not resemble one another."
Surly there is enough quality to win the prem, as virtually the same squad did it before, and you were rolling everyone at the beginning of the season. A couple of young players to freshen up the team a bit is all I think Chelsea need
kalou.. please leave.. you are absolutely hopeless... you missed from about 2 yards in the fa cup final v pompey.. typical you... you missed a near open goal v birmingham away this season... typical you... you normally come on as a sub and never ever seem to give 100% even when you arent tired and others are.... you look silly with a tight-fit chelsea top while others wear normal tops... you are not the person to talk about sulky players... you also said that you think the same squad will win the title next season (funny that as that would include you in the squad again)... you're just a terrible player! OK sorry people.. rant over for now
